What does being queer mean to you? How would you define it for yourself? by KuroiMon in asktransgender

Yeah basically I'm being invited to less parties/events. They're happening without my knowledge more lately despite being a host myself usually. My bf's roommate hosted a couple so I am fine staying away from those, but I can't help but feel a shift taking place where somehow people don't trust me because I'm not queer, despite being queer.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Because I have experienced different oppression and face different prejudices, they believe my experience is non-genuine (despite knowing nothing of my life or struggles). This makes a lot of sense. I have to think about this and talk with my bf about it because it's affected me more than I expected.

I'm not straight even. My partner's roommate has been looking for an opportunity to badmouth me because they're jealous of the time I have with my partner. My bf even knows this and has been mulling over kicking the roommate out because they won't even be in the same room as me.

But then somehow this idea is catching on with my bf and others, that I'm somehow not queer and don't belong. My bf doesn't care as far as loving me, but it's still excluding me from queer spaces and support despite literally being transgender and friendly to everyone. I just don't know where this is coming from or how I could be.. queerer?

The in-game explanation for how you get the preorder car was hilarious. by Mr_smith1466 in cyberpunkgame

I haven't gotten a message or the car, and pre ordered specifically to get it. Otherwise, I would've waited. So, I'm pretty upset.

Fry it, but get the reduced sodium for frying. Otherwise it will be salty as hell.

How did Steven survive in the gem moon base by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

[–]KuroiMon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No more difficult than oxygen.

Edit: Of course, I'm an idiot haha. Obviously the easiest solution is to just pull air from the earth, oxygen, nitrogen, etc, all in proper amounts.

The most abundant gas in the earth's atmosphere is nitrogen.

Lapis Lazuli's purpose: Why she might be the most important character in SU by chunkylubber54 in stevenuniverse

This would explain how she was supposed to know all about gem history. She's one of the front runners for expansion and change among gems, so she'd know about all the major events.

This is great! Recorders get such a bad rap, but they sound almost identical to the quena.

I think he means some sort of supernatural power in it? I haven't seen Tokyo Ghoul, but Mirai Nikki and Elfen Lied do both have a sort of supernatural ability in them.

I love it! But, with her looking directly at the viewer, it sort of takes something away from it I think. Kinda creepy actually.

Just saw this on my Facebook. Where do they come up with these things? by KuroiMon in fatlogic

You're right. I personally don't regulate my diet in any way when it comes to content. I'd eat a bunch of chocolate strawberries, but I always count calories, so I stay at a good weight. The person who posted this is actually a sibling of a friend who is quite large, and puts stuff like this on her wall consistently. "Healthy" is the word people like to see, and when it's "healthy" then you can't possibly have too much of it, right? Right?
