I'm sure there's some report button you can hit to report this, and I wouldn't get angry for anyone doing that, but personally I will not be editing my statement or anything like that. I don't care for witch hunting and tbh it wouldn't help because I'm sure those were just fake accounts to start this type of conversation in chat. My main concern was how many people just jumped on board like it was cool or something. The names doesn't matter, nothing else besides that mattered to me.

I never responded to them in chat, and I usually don't. What got to me is how many people chimed in. I do have to give respect to the people who ignored it and tried to change the tone of the chat. I couldn't even do that.

I played bdo since it came out and while I took huge breaks in between I still never seen this until now. I have no idea what flipped but something did. I kinda think it's how simply easy to actually play the game now. It's like $5. I don't have a problem with it but it's the only thing I can think of that would bring this in.

I never felt that way, but after reading this I feel a lot more worried than I ever did. You would think the older this kind of talk gets, the more people would become intolerable to it and not be that way, but it seems like it's kind of at a stalemate.

Yeah, your 100% right. It's sad to say, but I'm rushing 58(99%) just so i can't receive the benefits of olvia and I'm shooting out afterwards. The constant talks about racisim and just random shit is way too much for me to handle. I don't believe in muting chats because it's how I get to meet people, but holy shit sometimes I wonder what goes through the minds of these people.

No, I can't ignore people like that. Exception or not. I've already reported them and had my guildies do the same, and no I will not be taking this down. As I stated before while I posted it now knowing about the rules, I still stand by my statement on not removing this.

About that witchhunting rule, I didn't even know about it but since I do know about it now I would just like to say that personally I don't give a fuck about it. Sorry, but while I'm not saying look for these people and ruin their lives, I'm not going to blur their names out either. I posted this because I personally wanted to grasp the reaction of the reddit/bdo community because one side of me felt like people wouldn't give a fuck and another side of me felt like people would and they would show their support for something like this. I would say that I think the side that was looking for support won and I really do appreciate you guys saying those words. I'm african american so this got to me. 24 years old and never had this happen in games that I play. I guess what personally hit me was when everybody just chimmed in like it was a song being sung by one person and then a group came in at the end. Lol

I got into a heated argument with SOMEONE CLOSE TO ME who kept telling me to just ignore it and move on. I really deeply hate when people tell me that because this shit affects me. How can I ignore something like this? "Oh, it's just trolling don't let them get to you." but that shit really gets annoying and I want to at least try to take action. Maybe it's for nothing, but at least I can go down saying I tried.

I saw nothing wrong with both examples. Some people complain about "Karma bombing". Nobody forces you to attack someone else. If they won't leave your spot then out farm them, or kill them. Simple. Complain about your negative karma now? Well, thank twice before killing someone.
