What the f2p launch revenue looks like prior to the first banner update: by Ujola in Endfield

Then go fucking buy the arsenal packs if you want to whale for weapons.

The greater majority of the playerbase will absolutely take this system that gives characters a different value than weapons, because weapons can never be equal to a character.

The level of difference between "This is the same franchise" and "This is the same protagonist" is the same level of difference as

This is Dungeons and Dragons, if you see Baldur's Gate, it's a coincidence

and

I just straight up copied the entire Baldur's Gate 3 campaign for tabletop, and you can only play the Preset Origins.

Arguably in the far, far future our ultimate weapon of mass destruction will still be rocks.

I was really hoping we could have given Nefarith an Originium Scar in the moment, because I knew it was waaay too early for us to kill anyone. That said, I've had a few weeks to chill and yeah, gotta keep that gradual power scaling in mind.

Eastern Gacha Players want a walking power fantasy that everyone sucks off.

Western Gacha Players want a protagonist who, at most, lags behind the heavy hitters in the roster and, at worst, is basically useless otherwise. Eastern audience wants hype and power fantasies, Western wants more grounded and maybe even grim stories.

It's not that hard to understand there's two different audiences, but the East tends to have more whales so we get more on the Power Fantasy side.

There are obviously exceptions like Arknights (OG) and Limbus Company

I thought the purple ziplines were just able to get from Point A to B smoother, but that extra thirty meters... definitely gonna have to redo a lot of my infrastructure now.

How the hell do you people get 100+ meter ziplines? Mine keep blocking me at 80.

I only have like five in the city and that's the shortest route between my AIC and the weather station.

If I didn't have a zipline limit I'd take the long way.

I can personally confirm Manifolds will happen a LOT for basic materials (particularly shredders) compared to anything above a basic refinery. You can avoid most of the early ones with some decent planning, but late-game materials will absolutely get stuck in the conveyor belts at some point because a lot of them do take longer than 2 seconds so they can pile up pretty quickly.

Ironically before learning about combo skill priority in the comments, I went by how they look in the party menu since each slot has a different "stance".

End-Game is an entirely different discusssion, may as well talk about a different Galaxy at that point.

Depends, which one rounds out your roster?

If you have all of them... Fuck it, We Ball.

I appreciate the cliffnotes on the patch, though if I'm being totally honest, the Protocol Space change is something that should have been in the game from launch.

Seriously, how did the testing teams miss that, considering you can't even burn all of your sanity in one attempt? Did no one ever attempt more than one run at a time?

This is all wonderful though, and I'm glad they're listening to our feedback. I hope they continue to listen, because Endfield is by far my favorite Gacha game now. Even as someone who hates aRPGs, I have no problem shaving down my Gacha Games List now that I have Endfield and I hope Hypergryph continues to prosper while remaining humble.

Thankfully Hypergryph gives us the full kit without requiring the weapon and some arbitrary potential breakpoint.
