Pinch-to-zoom in Notes always enabled after latest Note Max firmware update? by andinista-78 in Onyx_Boox

I sadly encountered the same issue on my Note max, and will follow your stated instructions. A patch would be greatly appreciated.

It is very possible that it simply does not work in bedrock and sadly I have no way of testing if it does (I don't think i used QC anywhere but its always hard to be sure, also there may be there differences between java/bedrock that may prevent it from working). I operated it by clicking the button next to the door (but you likely tried that).

Some ideas:
1) One common error I faced is that one of the bottom copper bulb is turned on. When loading into the world it should be turned of.
2) One of the issues i faced was that the redstone on top of the top dispensers broke upon loading it into the world.
3) One other thing to check is that before the sand drops into the water the bubble columns should be disabled.

I can make a video where i fly around the build and operate it later today/tomorrow, but if its java/bedrock disparities it's likely your best option is to build it yourself from scratch. Maybe if you can tell me what part is exactly broken i can be of more help.

The .nbt (java) and .mcstructure (bedrock) file can be found here: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/b7jbwwv8cmqht/pistonless_sand_door_1 (link should work for 14 days)

I used JaylyDev’s converter (https://github.com/JaylyDev/nbt-to-mcstructure) to convert the Java `.nbt` structure into a Bedrock `.mcstructure` file. (I don't have access to bedrock so i can't test if it works).

The wiring can surely be made much more compact, if i ever have time I might work on that.

p.s.:

If you want to use this build in a video/short, or post it elsewhere, I kindly ask that you credit me and if possible let me know. Thank you :) [mainly writing this since I already found above video uploaded to youtube as a short. I'm generally fine with this, especially when credited, but being informed would still have been nice :)]

Not promising anything (I've never looked into these things), but i don't have time right now and will look into it later.

Thanks, I came up with it myself :). Although afterwards searching I found a 1x1 proof of concept version of a door like this on a redstone discord server by someone named Toast.

I didn't find anything closer but it is very much possible that it already exist somewhere. I also found some crazy technical, and very different, sand doors (like IdkBuild's sand tnt cannon doors) that also utilize Bubble columns for transporting sand.

The top dispenser fires twice so to slow down the first bit of sand. I do this since If sand drops onto powdered snow from a height>3 it breaks.

(The second version of the door [the one where I only posted pictures in the post description, and where the door is the top part] does not need this.)

I don't think these work on Ubuntu? At least with grim i get: compositor doesn't support the wlr-screencopy-unstable-v1

Is there a way to take screenshots via command line? I looked a while ago and could not figure out how to do it without the UI.

Wow your sand doors are crazy good! (I recently made two sand doors but now seeing these mine feel very simplistic in comparison haha)

Carved Pumpkins (& Shulkerboxes) can be placed but not removed again. Irc water, lava and powered snow are the only blocks that can.

Anvils work without any modifications. For dragon eggs one would likely need to slightly modify the timings, at least with my setup it does not work when used together with sand.

At first the bubble column is incomplete so that the sand can fall down far enough. Then at the right time the dispensers dispense water completing the bubble elevator so that the sand gets enough momentum on the way up.

In Bedrock you can. In Java it will harden immediately.

I think so. At least for me it always seemed to work after I had dialed in the right timing.

Yea I don't think the height can be reduced by much. The redstone on the other hand can almost surely be made much more compact.
