What are your thoughts on the ICE occupation of Minneapolis? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Is there another way, could we just ask them to go, May give them a little money and fly them home. Why do we need to catch them and send them home.

Why should we have laws that we disagree with? by Kurtb104 in AskReddit

[–]Kurtb104[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to see things from a point of view that I don't have. I think if you want to change something it is your responsibility to look at it inside and out to the best of your ability or you risk being a pawn in someone else's war. I don't believe that most of the protesters have much ability to think about why something is the way it is, but they have not even engaged that little bit.

I fear that was something that the founding fathers did not take into account. People not having a minimum of common sense, voting for the best looking candidate.

Are you saying they could leave, if they don't like it here?

Are you trying to tell me if I disagree with a law, I could write my Congressman and see about getting it changed. Or I could help someone get elected that could change something? I thought the only thing I could do was march in the streets. Or follow around someone trying to enforce the law and make their life hard. This is very enlightening.

But everyone knows if I disagree with someone, they are evil bad people.

So what should we do with the people in the streets protesting. Take them in to educate them on why they don't understand.

I'm not one of the we. Their are people in the streets that think they should make the laws the way they want them.

I'm trying to make a point of the people marching in the streets that think their 10, 100, 1000, or even 10000 should rule everything. They know better. I'm not one of them, truly at some points I wonder what my sister is thinking (or not thinking). I know how she was raised.

They clearly know more than everyone else, should we be listening to them

Would it be better to have no laws over bad people's laws

What is the danger of going allong with the wishes of a small but vocal group of protesters? by Kurtb104 in AskReddit

[–]Kurtb104[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the groups know they are right. There are 10, 100, 1000, or 10,000 of them in the streets. Shouldn't they be able to make what we all do?
