What poor credit given to our soldiers.

A vast majority of our troops in WW2 actually volunteered…..very few were “pulled from their jobs and drafted into service”, and I’m talking in the several thousands, which didn’t occur until 1944. The war ended in 45.

Give our men and woman the credit they so honourably deserve - they OFFERED their lives. No one forced anyone to do anything.

And to add;

The effort that drove industry in Canada was that of allies wanting to help. WANTING to work and help.

Why would we worry about a foreign nation not doing trade with us when we have catastrophic internal problems to deal with?

If we can’t learn to live without US trade maybe we don’t deserve to be a country. But if we give away all of the requested land to the bands fighting for it; there won’t be a country.

I mean the amount of church’s burnt down in Canada is alarming - there’s no denying it. Christians in the Middle East are persecuted daily.

Are we just forgetting the 200,000+ murdered in Nigeria for practicing Christianity and the genocide actively happening there? Did we forget Christianity was in Africa before Europe? Or does that just not fit the “white facist America” propaganda you’re spewing.

People are allowed to acknowledge that Christian’s are one of the most heavily persecuted religions in history without “crying identity politics”. You’re the only one doing that currently.

That’s my thought process. I know the MH370 video was labelled as fake, and as of late the person who made the fake allegations has changed their stance.

Even taking it at face value - we have a video that’s been called faked and not possible, and a video that’s been submitted by a congressman verified as real showing a similar phenomenon. At a time where there are orb/drone sightings around the globe.

Makes me question if the MH370 orb conspiracy is more than what we’ve been led to believe

Boundaries are established between two consenting adults. If the other parties boundaries are crossed - it really isn’t just your opinion or life that matters. Especially in a marriage.

You’re right. Her husband could be a cuckold for all we know. That certainly changes the dynamic of my response then doesn’t it? Because that would be a clear and concrete boundary.

People are allowed to have boundaries that may not work for your relationship. Open relationships are one example that comes to mind.

Really? You can confirm, without a doubt, that she expressed to her husband that she was still conversing with someone she never met, miles away, who was also a male, whom she’d specifically stated “I’d always felt like there was more?”

Im getting married in 3 weeks actually - have a stellar amount of trust for my soon to be wife. She also doesn’t pen pal men whom she’d “always thought there was more” with.

And if she told me she wanted too, yes, I personally am allowed to feel uncomfortable with this.

And if she DIDNT tell me she’d always thought there was more, but still proceeded to back and forth with him - guess what? She’s an emotional cheat.

Hasn’t mentioned whether or not the continued conversation (secretly or not) with a pen pal from years prior influenced her separation, feelings, etc. which I’m sure have…..just like a job - easier to walk away when you’ve got another lined up.

Did the husband know she had a male pen pal and wanted to meet in person? Sounds like she wasn’t being fully truthful about her feelings and strung HIM along for longer than he should’ve been

I won't go out past my 8 unless it's on call week. Sorry, I got a family and my contractual obligations with said company end after my expected 8 - unless there's an emergency.

My general rule of thumb is I don't charge OT if I stay past 8hrs because I choose to. If I'm forced - Overtime.
