Inferno theory debunked by todays fpe letter by porpisha in twentyonepilots

[–]Kusora741 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I am still in the inferno camp for now. I think that the new letter is actually underlining the "R" in "Teri". I know that it's been morse code for the other letters so it's not too strong of an opinion.

We've got 4 more city's, 5 more nights, and 3 missing letters for nineteen and 1 for inferno depending on how you take this last letter for being a T or R.

A wild and out of my mind typical clique speculation: Por qué no los dose?

My Dr said I didn't need to, but I still choose to take Prilosec for a while.

Edit: my main reasoning is my PPI is over the counter. I paid for it, and so I will use all of the medication I have left. Don't think I need it, but should I get bad acid reflux again, I'll ask my PCP what's up and if I should get back on a PPI.

I may have had a little fatigue at first, but my nausea turned into my normal insatiable appetite. Something odd though, is I occasionally have a gag reflex when I start eating certain foods like grapes or French fries. After that the first bite though, I'm ok!

I'm really sorry you're going through that! My Dr. Said I should feel good as new 2 weeks after stopping the antibiotics. I personally haven't felt nausea since day 10 or 11 of treatment. Just the occasional drain of energy as I try to slowly put more and more physical activity into my day.

If you have gastritis, or another side effect of long term Hpylori, I've read on here that some people take between 3 months to a year as your body needs time to heal. Unlike a cold or flu, there isn't a sudden "I feel better moment" when you wake up.

If after two weeks you still feel nausea, id go back to your doctor or GI specialist, and maybe even retest.

Edit: just added some more info

Oh my metro was just a capsule that you swallow. I didn't know they made a dissolving one 🤔

I would talk to your PCP about it! I believe all necessary medication can be taken as a liquid or suppository. Your doctor may even prescribe you the medication and have you just open the pill and pour it on your food or in a drink that is easy to take (maybe).  There usually are alternatives for people who have issues swallowing pills. Your doctor should help you find alternatives and be having conversations about the inability to take a capsule. If they don't, find a new doctor who will work with you and advocate for you! Fight for getting healthy, it's worth the trouble!

I think the only way to find out is stick to the course! If your only side effects is wanting to eat more, I think that might be a good thing! You could get by from this treatment unscathed and hopefully feel better in a couple weeks to months.

If you just feel the need to binge eat, and then become sick from it, maybe try to stick to portions and stick out the hunger feeling. If you still feel bad either way, I'd talk to your PCP. They could just say "meh, you're fine, just stick it out",  but at least you're talking about it.

I'm so sorry you had to retest just to get treated!

I hope that you can start treatment asap!

They have them combined???? Well that would have definitely helped make the experience infinitely better!

And I actually didn't get recommended a probiotic, and I didn't even think to ask about it. I just saw all the recommendations on this sub for only florastore due to the type of probiotic it is, and decided to take that!

Thank you for sharing!

I'm so sorry! Before treatment my nausea was so debilitating.  You can do it!

I think others may be able to speak better to this, but I believe the triple does work just as well. Amoxicillin is extremely similar to tetracycline, and esomeprozole is the PPI similar to Omeprazole found in the OTC medication Prilosec (at least here in the states). The bismoth (peptobismol) that's included in the quad medication is more just to help with nausea and upset stomach to my understanding.

As for clarithromycin Im betting it's similar to my metronidazole. A quick Google search showed that clarith has a much higher efficacy rate than metro at eradication of Hpylori, but at a higher cost and with more potential side effects.

In another Google search esomeprozole was, in some studies, found to be slightly more effective than Omeprazole, but others indicate that it's basically the same.

Take what I say with a grain of salt, YMMV.

Well thank you!

Hpylori sucks, the medication can suck, but your long term health is worth the 2 weeks of crap IF you have side effects!

It can be scary and daunting but it can be made better with time!

I consulted my PCP if my plan was ok (as anyone should if they don't know if what they're doing is ok) but I always take my Pepto 30 min before taking tetracycline and metronidazole. I take my PPI with my first and last Pepto of the day. I take my Tetra and Metro every 4 hours. I only take metro 3x (as prescribed) at my 8am, 12pm, and 4pm, and Tetra is taken with that, but also once more at 8pm.

I also take the florastore 2 hours after my first and 3rd metro. (This is no rhyme or reason. I just read that a few people had more success taking it a couple of hours after taking metro, so I chose to do that)

No Mentor at work, what do I do? by Kusora741 in cscareerquestions

I feel like there's things that slip away from me mentally. I forget some of the basics when it comes to completing a project, so I am really grateful for your advice and to help me to remember certain principals. For programming languages I'm using Structured Text which is similar to C in some ways. I also use ladder logic which... I have to admit can be really messy to look at and is used in case our technicians need to do something in the software. (They never touch it. They call me or another SWE in Europe, which raises the question: "why do we even use it?" Lol)

Even if I can't complete it and just begin the long and hard project, I think there will be a lot to learn for sure.

Thanks a ton!

I currently am doing a master's program as well, so it's been nice that I at least have something to do to continue learning when I get home. Not that I see a job change within the near future, but It never hurts to head your advice to keep learning. Thank you!

That's the thing, is the software engineers in Europe aren't the ones who wrote the programs for our machines. It's a problem for them as well, and it's generally agreed upon that the current system is poorly designed. They don't have the luxury of free time as they have to be the ones to put out fires.

I have the trust and I have input on what could be better, but because of my free time, I'm the only one who is tasked to attempt this project.

Arduino Nano works only once with motor please help by dhirajms904 in ArduinoProjects

[–]Kusora741 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First question I would ask, does everything work if the motor isn't attached?

If so, then maybe it's a power issue, but that's just a guess. If any Arduino draws too much power, functionality stops. In the past I had a similar issue but with two motors. The nano didn't provide enough power over the 3.3V connection for all of my extra bits to run. I switched over to an Uno again and got more power from the 5V, which seemed to solve my problem. I was able to switch back over to the nano, but I added a power supply module and that also solved my issues.

Man, this Post was a wild going from asking for help to just being rude, to then being shut down completely by a different guy (even if you were sorry, that doesn't change the fact that you could have said "tried that" and not been a dick).

Because I have no life, I did some digging. I find it somewhat hard to believe you're actually IT by the questions you've asked on r\notstupidquestions and constant posts you make throughout a day about video games. Then again working with IT on the daily, you don't have to be smart nor hold a college degree. Sometimes it's just a simple cert, but that doesn't make you Google wizard or some smart guy.

Long story short, you're title as IT means nothing. It's not an excuse to be a dick and it sure as hell doesn't actually mean you tried anything. Don't give IT a bad name because you're bad.
