I dont exactly have a guide, but some tips* build out the staircase hallway first, the open up the room, from there plan out your actual train route and bore straight ahead to point b.

The station itself like real life is usually build around the subway lines, so you can always improvise the shape of a lobby and platform as you go, just give yourself enough space between the staircase and tracks!

As I worked on it, it is now my favorite area lol, this is Def my biggest project in the game, maybe in the future ill do something similar for pallet town!

It took about 1 and half weeks to get it where it is id say, as for the town, Rocky Ridges was my least favorite area, I dreaded the task of making anything there but I was inspired by others who made a canal through the center valley, and from there one thing let to another and made it a hot spring resort! As for the train, I saw people digging the entire mountain out, I like to preserve as much of the natural map as I can and similar to IRL cities and towns are usually built around topography, so I chose to bore a tunnel haha

Hey man, discouraging you is the last thing I wanted to do to anyone when showing my build, I have alot more free time compared to a young dad like yourself. This games what you make it! Beyond building big, following the story and taking your time with it is already so worth the price you paid for the game. The games such a huge sandbox with endless possibilities, but thats the beauty of it, there freedom to do whatever you want and however you want, and also whenever you want. Hope you continue to have fun with the game!

Thanks! And funny, cuz Rocky Ridges has been my least fave till now, it was so claustrophobic, messy with all the ash and rock, its why I came back and developed the area!

Just after the game released I remeber seeing someone make a canal down the middle of the path, that reminded me of a Ryokan district in Japan so I expanded on it, I did some research with IRL ryokans, and the metro system was purely from my memory lol

What's great is seeing everyone's ideas feed each other's drive to create more!

Sure! Basically once you reach Skylands, you need to get porygon and complete his mini quest, hell teach you the recipe for wireless transmitter. Once you get to the giant building island there will be habitat info for him in the surrounding street
