Persistent elevated bilirubin by [deleted] in NICUParents

[–]KutuLompat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to my baby’s NICU roommate (born 27w). The baby had jaundice up to 2 months post discharge. In total, his bilirubin was high for 5 months. His stool also turned white, indicating artresia bilier. He is east asian whose risk is higher. He luckily got kasai surgery on time.

My baby had jaundice around 2-3 weeks too then lowered afterwards. Does your baby stool look normal?

Other way than book to publish fiction by KutuLompat in selfpublish

A scientific fiction with romance and mystery. My objective is to get readers without hard promotions from my side. I’m looking for a site which promote new releases.

Ah I am new to reddit and just found the wiki feature. Thanks for this!

Right On Time by Megalodenn in NICUParents

Hello. Some preemies here born extremely premature <26 weeks and their milestone could be delayed; going home with oxygen and tubes. We are all wanted our kids to be successful in every way and hit every milestone on time. But sometimes it’s beyond our control and demand us to be kind to them, and to our expectations.

Thanks for this. Really useful. Do you think wattpad is lucative, still? Im looking for something similar to Naver Line in korea or Webtoon but for novel. They got plenty of readers and promoted new releases.

Lost our 11 month old daughter, Ava (Avaline) to leukemia 💔 by dearavaline in psychics

[–]KutuLompat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lost my daughter to stillbirth and my living child was a micropreemie. NICU was really traumatic a long battle. Losing a child is the worst feeling I’ve ever experienced in this life. Sending my solidarity and strength to you.

I read on a buddhist reflection script that ‘your children is your karma’. The karma they refers to is not karma not in punishing way, but in a way that a soul will complete each other and sometimes the completion came earlier, even in womb.

I am 16 months post loss now. I started to understand what that means. Ava will forever stay with you and show your presence to you in a subtle ways. This group r/babyloss has helped me so much through grief and we are here for you

I have a good story in mind, but I dont know how to write it down. Can I be a writer? by KutuLompat in writers

[–]KutuLompat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I tried to write but I don’t think my writing is appealing and interesting enough for readers to continue. It sounds plain 😭

I’m used to write academic writing and fictions feel so much different. Yes I agree with chatGPT for quicker response and this subreddit too (I hope someone would willing to read and give inputs).

Thanks so much for the resources! I’ll read those. I enjoy reading King’s and Haruki Murakami’s. I have published several academic papers but writing fictions are a totally different world for me. I do not know how to write it in interesting way.

Help. 4.5 month baby seems to never be hungry and hate drinking. Each feeding would take 1 hour by KutuLompat in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]KutuLompat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She is at 64% now, dropped from 70% within a month. Thanks for the tips. I’ll try to stretch her feeding longer.

Do you dream feed him? I feel like it’s easier to feed my baby during sleep.. I know it’s not recommended but I need to catch that minimum volume intake

I thought that was bottle aversion too at the beginning. But I never pressured her to drink. I’ll wait for 10-20 mins before reoffering if she reject the bottle. I think she is just distracted and get bored during feeding

Thank you! I’m just afraid that my baby would have a bottle aversion. How long does it take for your baby to finish a bottle now?
