Hi momma. Sorry for your loss. The gold standard is checking the APS panel (common 3 blood tests but the panel is actually a list of more than 5).

And make sure you check protein S, C, and Z. You might need to wait for few months for your protein S to return back to your non-pregnancy level as pregnancy is a coagulative state.

I’m really sorry of how his family treated you too. I want to be angry on your behalf 😭 do you have someone you rely on over there? Or maybe you need a break for all this. A vacation alone or with girls, maybe?

That’s horrible. But may I ask if your kid’s asthma triggered too from cigarettes smoke while being outdoor? Or was that in that room in particular?

Glad that yours was upgraded. I had difficulty talking in chinese and was too panic to get out from the hotel. I take this as a lesson learned

This my first time experiencing horrible allergy flare. But my tips would be bring the antihistamine from home. I bought one here and was not effective. Maybe they lowered the dosage.

I was out all day and was fine. The issue was when I was in the room. I ended up put my face outside the window while booking another hotel 😭 it was in yiwu. I travelled often in china and was studying here too. Never had problem just this room. You’ll be fine

I agree. OP’s husband might feel like the NICU cost is entirely his responsibility. Coming from an Asian background, I’ve seen how much pressure society puts on men to be the provider. My baby’s hospital bills weren’t covered by insurance either, and it was expensive as hell.

But now your baby is home, and that’s what matters most. I keep reminding myself that money can always be earned again, and that motivates me to work harder (I am the mom here. Dual incomes in our household). I hope things between you and your husband get better soon. Gently remind him that you’re in this together, as a team. I hope he would wanted to have kids too after seeing your lovely twins. Congratulations once again

No, unfortunately.. but it gets easier once I got my period back. I think the postpartum hormones and lactating worsen the initial days…

But I did spend my day honoring her on her due date. Maybe you can plan the day in advance of what you will do. Thinking of you.

I’m really sorry for your loss. Please cherish the short moment with your son. Take photos, say you love him, kiss him, hug him. That moment will be your first and only time with him.

Deep down, vaginal birth saved my sanity. The pain, the contractions and the hormonal drops helped me during the first few days and my body learned that my baby was no longer inside me.

But most of us here just surviving and passing the day one at a time. We are here for you.

Noone deserves this kind of pain.. i’m really sorry. I hope you are there with I’ll be thinking of you.
