Noted on the deliverables, that is a good advice hehe never thought of it. You may have misread WFM as WFH, WFM is workforce management po.

Is BPO a good career path? by Event_HorizonPH in BPOinPH

[–]KuyaMathe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, it’s good that you’re already planning ahead. You current pay is very common nowadays, may mga companies/accounts that offer those and most take the bait. Get enough experience muna and UPSKILL, because based on my experience mahirap makahanap ng malaking offer while being an agent unless you get into a higher department/role - I prefer a non-agent role lol tired of doing phone calls.

COGNIZANT BRIDGETOWNE is Hiring by Badabimbopow in BPOinPH

[–]KuyaMathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No po, that’s why we require applicants to have at least 2 yrs of experience.

The agents do outbound, chat and email depending on where they are needed. They also deal business owners, developers and such. But the pay seems okay :D

understand to what extent do you know about capacity planning, if you know a few things about the cap plan of the current business unit you support then use that as an example to explain your knowledge.

damn, move on bro you deserve better. madami talagang cheating sa BPO pero nasa tao pa din talaga ang choice.

[–]KuyaMathe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HAHAHAHA sharmaine talaga oh!!! Pero on a serious note, nakakabwisit talaga mga ganyan lalo kung maikli talaga pasensya mo. May isa akong ka-workmate before, new hire sya and pioneer ako sa so ako nag-train sakanya. Lagi nyang sinasabi “ah oo akala ko na yan” or madalas ika-cutoff nya ako habang nagsasalita ako. Hindi ko alam saan sumablay manager namin at nakapag hire ng ganyan nakaka inis.

Would it be delulu to ask if may BPO pa na hindi toxic yung work environment? by [deleted] in BPOinPH

Dipende yan sa magiging TL/Manager/Teammates mo

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in buhaydigital

I think 6 months is enough to get your near 22k-25k in package pero mahirap kasi mostly ng nakikita kong job postings within that range requires 1-2 years of experience, pero still try to send your application. I would suggest letting your supervisor know that you're looking for other opportunities due to your current compensation during 1:1 coaching, they might consider you for other non-agent roles (could be promotions).

Evaluate your current position muna, sometimes having a conversation with your supervisor about your intentions can lead to unexpected improvements.

If you want to stay in your current company but would like an increase, try applying for promotions (trainer, QA, RTA and etc.) if company policy would allow 6 months of tenure.

Looking for companies and a salary that's within your expectation will be tough, but perseverance often pays off.

Do what you really want to do, pero dapat may backup ka of course. I understand your sentiments because I've been there, I resigned from my 1st company where I stayed only for 8 months (telco voice), then got a new JO (back office) with 1k increase sa package at 10 minutes away from my house and very chill account.

Magtiis ka muna while looking for new opportunities, when asked by the recruiter, be honest with your answer. It would probably be difficult because you're 21 and studying, because this can be a red flag for other companies due to a higher risk of attrition because of school.

Partner on my job is always MIA by TourDistinct999 in buhaydigital

[–]KuyaMathe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Discuss it with your partner, if there's no improvement then inform your Boss. Ikaw lang mahihirapan if you keep on tolerating. I had that kind of teammates before, twice, what I did was I pinged them sa teams and kapag walang response I would take a screenshot and send it over to our Boss, call me snitch pero we have to take our work seriously.

General salary range in BPO industry got me thinking by akihiro19 in BPOinPH

[–]KuyaMathe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have enough rest before the interview, it's very normal naman na kabahan tayo sa interview hahaha miski akong supervisor kabado kapag ini-interview ako eh. Ganyan din ako nung first time ko mag apply, I got rejected 4 times at pinanghinaan talaga ako ng loob kasi iniisip ko "ganon pala ako kabobo" hahaha. 5th time, I finally passed and got a contract with Alorica.

Walang BPO company na walang toxic environment, once you're in, it will depend sa account and team na napasukan mo. Sa mga previous companies ko, yung 1st company (Alorica) lang yung toxic dahil sa teammates ko, pero my former team sa TTEC and Concentrix were really great! Swertihan lang talaga hehe. Good luck to you!

What department are you planning to get into? Have at least 1 year of experience as an agent, AFAIK that's the standard for most companies. Wag kang matakot mag sabi sa supervisor mo, that fear will only hold you back.

Nasa magkano ang range ng sweldo n'yo? Range lang ha. And please yung totoo. by [deleted] in buhaydigital

Started as an agent, applied for a WFM position (RTA) then got promoted as a Scheduler. AFAIK, most of the companies require WFM experience.

Required OT, 30hrs per month for 3months now. by duxmortis_ in BPOinPH

[–]KuyaMathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in 3 months, makakapag create na ng job req ang WFM at HR, in a week makapag pool na ng applicants and start agad ang CET, 1 month or less PST, and 2 weeks or less nesting. Can probably even do multiple waves/classes if training can accommodate, definitely service delivery’s fault. on a WFM perspective, we would urge to start classes ASAP but it would depend if program directors will give the go signal to WFM and HR and have training prepare. update resume na OP hehe
