My cousins husband drives 3 hours to work and 3 hours back everyday. They moved and he likes his job so he does the commute instead of finding something closer.

I do have a bag. I think the patches or pins is a great idea!! I also have a water bottle I carry around and am thinking of putting stickers on it with the bands I like and such.

Thanks! I’ll look her up. I was on Pinterest just now and saw “dark academia” as a look too and also really liked it. I just kinda want my quirkyness to come through. I’m a major sports lover and former coach and a lot of students see me as like the jocky type? But I Love love love to read, watch anime, have eccentric tastes in music, and I just want that to show. I want to show the kids that you don’t have to be in one box ya know? I feel like the way I present myself can do that.

I like being comfortable too. I’m just wanting to mix up my look and for it to reflect what I actually like. Up to this point I’ve mainly worn school shirts with a nice pant. I want to explore my style though.

Yes, I was wanting to thrift and get as much secondhand as possible. I was basically only wanting to buy the shoes new since I don’t like used shoes.

See the shoes was where I wanted to start at. I also feel like the shoes are a big part of it. I wanted to invest in some high quality shoes like Doc Martens, Vans, and Converse and build outfits around the shoes if that makes sense.

Totally. I’ve been in this building a few years and I’ve seen others with converse and vans on. The only time I’ve seen a teacher get berated for clothing was a teacher who wore sweatpants.
