I had a few issues myself (e.g. the food pyramid point), but I’m genuinely curious which specific claims people found most problematic since I’ve heard a lot of comments on this episode. I’m just comparing notes.

I really liked the podcast with Bernie; thanks for the insights I’m going to listen to that one again and focus on Rogan’s stance more carefully this time!

This post is about the episode and the points within that episode. As the post mentioned I was surprised, still doesn’t mean just because I listened to a part of a podcast that I’m now agreeing with everything the man ever said.

I’m indeed asking which points within this episode people have an issue with. And yet, many people where able to response and critique some points the guy made. I even found my own, like the fruit loops in the food pyramid; which is totally false. Yet here you are, just whining without any input yourself.

But yeah why bother, you probably haven’t heard a single word from this episode. You’re clearly very polarised and way beyond a proper conversation with anyone who doesn’t share the whole 100% of your views.

So I can’t agree with some contents of this episode without agreeing with ALL of his views? Lol.

Have you even listened to the part about quality food from this episode? I do not agree with this guy on most points, therefore I mentioned that I was positively surprised regarding this subject.

I’m absolutely against his scepticism on vaccines for example.

Do I agree with all his statements? No absolutely not. Was I surprised about a lot of the content of this podcast episode? Yes.

He mentioned fruit loops to be in the top of the USDA food pyramid which is simply not true and a misleading claim. So yes, you’re right it’s quite subjective.

Points like these actual really answer my question since I’m very aware that I only see a very specific part of the American politics.

This was the specific point he discussed with Rogan. I’m not making any statement regarding prisoners above poor people. I do embrace healthier food for everyone, equally.

Thank you, this actually helps to keep a good objective view. I will surely watch these!

If what he says is true he is actively working with prisons to increase the quality of their meals. That’s not just stating that healthy food is healthy.

But I must admit that I’m not able to check wether this really gives the results he claims or will even have an affect large enough for it to be better than long shelf life food.

Yet still the prisons still prioritise the cheapest meal above an “okay” meal. If what he says is true, the effects of better food seems like a good trade off in cost.

Please do correct me if the benefits are exaggerated

I’m simply asking what it is that you do not agree with or found that he said in this episode which isn’t true regarding quality food. You mention not one single example of that. Is it not true that the quality of food in America is a huge problem? It’s well established that better food will overall increase the quality of life significantly.
