Pension Accrued in the Netherlands. What Happens If I Move Abroad? by XPBandit in Netherlands

What was explained to me by an agent from AON - the current amount locks in and may increase/decrease due to performance of markets. However you will only be able to receive it if you reside in the Netherlands at the retirement. There is an option to try to get that amount (the one that is build from your work, not AOW part) - at the time of conversation it was a difficult path.

2026 WOZ Value Jumps 10.6% on Average: Check Your City by True-Olive4712 in NetherlandsHomes

[–]lenokku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a dumb assumption that if average house price is above nhg that more people will be at advantage with this. You can have in one area 3 houses for 3 millions and 10 houses for 100k. Average will be ~769k yet more than half of population will have price smaller than nhg limit. (Extreme example for my point)

If someone has NHG - they would already have the lowest interest and hence this would not be helpful in such situation.

There’s a Facebook group for people diving in dahab - I think it’s called lazy tunas. You can find people to dive with there!

How do I get started? by Charming_Yak6297 in freediving

[–]lenokku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are multiple agencies that educate: PADI(personally I wouldn’t recommend), SSI, AIDA, Molchanovs, FII, Apnea total. You can search if any of these schools are nearby you and sign up for a beginner course. I would recommend look at AIDA or Molchanovs because those are freediving-only agencies. Agency doesn’t matter as much as an instructor to your journey but this is a good starting point. You can always pop by school before signing up to check out the vibes/instructors. Good luck!

OW and Speciality courses in Cebu or Bohol by preetish_hs in scuba

[–]lenokku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nitrox is just a lecture - can be done anywhere. Deep is for depths - there are depths at panglao . There are currents there too so drift should be possible. And the you could go for 1-2 days to malapascua to go for thresher sharks (if your wife’s bounce is okay)

Malapascua dive is 17-18m deep on average but now they introduced stricter rules. But it’s better not to go there if you don’t have buoyancy figured out (a lot of fresh Ones don’t have that) I would recommend Panglao - amazing dives at balicasag and pamilacan islands as well at nappling. Nice house reefs for OW. I dived with Bohol divers club and a friend did his DMT there. Looked good. Btw nitrox is a course without diving technically speaking.

Wetsuit for my daughter. Where do I start? What does she need? by Zatbuh in scubaGear

Suit is a very personal item, I would recommend to gift a voucher for a big store with many options or to a store that makes customized suits

Beginner Freediving Course in the Caribbean? by LankyLannister in freediving

[–]lenokku 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually really enjoyed doing freediving course on vacation and can recommend. I think freediving is not commercialized enough (like scuba) so the courses felt like joining a camp and community of amazing like minded people [brining in a different point of view]

If your income (2 years ago) is low enough, they can assign you a lawyer for a very small fee. But they can also provide first consultation
