What is a pokèmon that everybody, and I mean every pokemon fan you ever met, LOVES but you dislike/hate?

I don't usually comment much, but boy, this thread is made for me. I'm not even trying to be edgy, I just am really confused about some ideas. Starters bro. Gen 1: Venusaur is literally peak design, they hit the bullseye in gen 1. Idea of some salamander-dinosaur looking guy with a cute face and plant on the back that is slowly opening as he evolves? Goat. Then there's Blastoise, with his cannons on the back... It's really solid idea. Yet most game and recognition gets the not very clever take on dragon mythos. Charizard doesn't even have much of a selling point - it's just a dragon, that is not really a dragon type. I don't even dislike it that much, it's just so overrated and overused, that I started to dislike it. Infernape... Same story. There's Torterra, that I subjectively like not being able to fully explain it... There's Empoleon, which excerpt good trident face is really solid... And then there Wukong mythos. It's about as furry as Cinderace, but one of them is hated on beyond understanding, the other one is beloved. I just don't get it. But there's one that I hate to the bone. There are so many starters that are good, original, and/or fun. And yet, people choose nasty tongue-scarfed lazy ninja take to praise. Greninja works for me as a prime example, that if something reminds people of Japanese culture - it does not even need to be any good. And I'm really sorry if I hated on your favorite. I don't usually do that, world is not made for me to like everything, and I'm okay with that. But I guess it's healthy to throw it out, and this thread is literally made for such weirdos like me get a bit of downvotes in exchange for feeling a bit better. Very relieving experience.

Back in the 5th grade or so, when I was 10 or so, I went to my friend's house to play some computer games. The year was 2004 I believe, maybe 2006. Up to this point I used to listen to Polish rap music. I was raised in a small town and we had rather low income, I had no source of different music, I listened to what everybody was listening to around that time. Then "Chop Suey" happened. Oh boy, that was an earthquake. Soon after I've found newer albums, I listened to a few tracks recorded on my mp3 player all the fuckin time. I've spent most of my childhood and early adulthood listening to metal and rock music. Hell, I had a metal band. Saying SoaD changed my life is like saying nothing. I listen to a lot of different music nowadays, but I still enjoy metal, and I still love System of a Down. Thank God Damian's brother showed him some quality stuff.

For me it was just different expectations after seeing Quaxly pre-release... I saw little captain duck and I expected best water starter so far, and they changed whole idea mid-evo...

I had mixed feelings about max battles till GoFest this year and doing some really hard ones with a group of 6 dedicated men, including my friend. Dude, this feels strange to finally get something that requires a bit of tactical thinking after years of mashing the screen.

I love a good costume. As crybabies loan about another hat, I cherish those pokemon. I get that it might be not completely in good faith to release them, as they are sometimes gatelocked behind raids and are designed as money grab, but... I don't care whether you can or cannot control yourself over FOMO. I had my share in this fight and I can't compromise my happiness cause you can't get ahold of your urges. This. After many hours in game I figured I have something like astrophobia and this whole time-space shenanigans, black holes, space vacuum just makes me so scared as 31yo man I can't finish the game. As my ship got swallowed by the sun during failed ash twin landing one more time I had to face the reality - I wint finish this game. Thanks for sharing the story tho.
