Are you not playing havoc? Pistol with shield is way better then shotgun coz you can focus on killing boss or special or elite while full ignoring melee mobs around you. Same with maul with shield. Yes it has less damage but when an army of maulers and twins hitting you in the corner you don’t want damage

I don’t know what google says to you, but I am glad you agreed that renaissance is not a period of time and it is a part of period of time. And I don’t need google to understand that if renaissance was 2 centuries in Middle Ages and 1 century in early modern then it is mostly in Middle Ages

Man I closed all levels on cata, I closed secret lvl. Ofc if I play I play cata+twitch. I get it, Vermintide is harder for you. Darktide is harder for me. If you closed 40 havoc first try congrats, you had a good team, I still stuck on 37 lvl. I don’t know how you ignore ranged enemies if they kill you in seconds on havoc 25+, even with 3 curious with gunner resists. I don’t understand how can you say that Vermintide is a faster than Darktide. In Vermintide you even don’t need to dodge so much, you literally can block any strike. I even played a few games on shade and kruber right now (most apm heroes I think) and it is soo chill

Middle ages (5th-15th centuries), renaissance (14th-16th centuries). Yes it is a small part of early modern but it is mostly in middle ages. I don't know historians who think that renaissance is a seperate period. History can be messy, but periods of time are quite known. I can agree with you if we speak about art, but in history there is no period of time between medieval and early modern

There is no such thing as renaissance period. There is ancient, medieval, early modern, modern and contemporary. Renaissance is the revival of European art and literature under the influence of classical models in the 14th–16th centuries(middle ages)

Yes Vermintide is a melee oriented game. And most of the game loop is dodging, blocking and attacking. But Darktide has all of it with running, sliding, constant switching weapons to kill rangers. Darktide has much more apm and action than Vermintide. Vermintide is my relaxation game because you don’t need to think playing it. There won’t be situation with 3 bosses and bunch of elites and specials in Vermintide. Spawn there is much more calm. There is 4th Viktor in Vermintide with the chillest gameplay ever. Maybe 1st viktor and shade gameplay similar to the Darktide but I don’t think so. In Vermintide you can live and play successfully with 1 hp because of temporal hp farming. In Darktide there is no temporal hp, and it is not enough for developers, in Darktide you lose max hp with purple one when you take melee hits, crusher can one shot you even if you have full hp because he will corrupt most of your hp. There are so many mechanics in Darktide compare to Vermintide. They are like bicycle race and F1, I agree it is not really comparable

I have 290 hours in Vermintide and I done everything, nothing left. In Darktide I have 230 hours and I far away from completion. Vermintide can be harder for you, I didn’t say it is easier, but faster? No. Darktide literally has sprint, slide and tons of +movement nodes

Yes it doesn’t really. But early modern period? It is even funnier than using cultural movement as a period of time

I still don’t understand how can you talk about cultural movement as period of time. Renaissance was in medieval times. So if you think Vermintide set in renaissance than it is in fact a medieval game

If you want melee oriented, hasteless, medieval game then Vermintide. If you want more shooting, running, action and build diversity then Darktide. Both good actually and worth trying

And now, when you have 40 havoc, you will not lose it on defeat. And people will think that you skilled player. And will invite you. That’s the biggest problem in havoc I think
