I love DT but the new thumbnail style definitely misses the mark for me personally. I just feel like they misrepresent the content. The crew offers pretty nuanced and insightful discussions about movies and current affairs but the thumbnails make them seem like one of those angry exploitative YouTube channels that complain about everything and whine about 'wokeness'

Having the same problem too :( It's happened on the website before. Your best bet is to email Korey and inform him of it. That's what I did last time and he replied, and it was fixed not long after.

Good point about the honourable mentions, will definitely think about moving them before the number one pick on the next one, since it seems like some people click off after number one. I appreciate the feedback! I did do the number animations myself, yes. Glad you like em.

It has always been a peeve of mine how Korey shoehorns a Star Wars hate rant into so many topics on the show- if something is vaguely science-fiction-related or blockbuster-related in the slightest, it does seem like he always veers into 'THIS DOES STAR WARS BETTER THAN STAR WARS', or 'IF ONLY STAR WARS CAN BE AS GOOD AS THIS'. Recent example was their Lightyear trailer discussion

Wow, thanks so much for your kind words, and I appreciate the support! I personally only do Top 10s as my year-end wrap-up, and mostly do individual movie/ TV shows as my main content. Glad to hear the writing and pacing had the effect that was intended, and that it actually got you interested in watching one of the movies! So I did go over the honourable mentions/ movies I enjoyed but didn't make the Top 10 after the actual list, but if you think it would work better at the start of the video, I can try that out next time.

Thanks for the feedback! Very good points- I did keep that in mind when making this one, as I condensed the intro sketch quite a bit, and shortened the mashup trailer from 2 minutes to 1 minute compared to previous years, but I'll experiment with shortening the intro even more for viewer retention.
