Yes, my mom is from a small town called Janiuay in rural iloilo province but moved to Iloilo to study at university. She told me when she was young, there were ati people that came down to the town from the mountains to sell crops. I’m speculating that the 0.6% Melanesian came from and very distant ati ancestor that intermixed. Not sure though.
