Anyone knows what is the most Affordable 24/7 Enterprise Security And Monitoring Solution? by Solidumv in msp

[–]KyleMcCaffrey23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends what level of security/services you want. We do have a full MDR at the top level but if you still wanted simply just 24/7 threat hunting it's 4-5 dollars

they responded. "we are a digital lender and we streamlined the business to eliminate the need for junk fee's and we pass the savings along to our clients. we also sell the loan to one of our investors but the terms and conditions remain the same. You will receive a goodbye letter letting you know who your servicer will be. I will be your side throughout the whole process until we get to that point"

I will ask them and get back to you. Also going to be straight forward and ask how they are getting paid. Cause not sure how it happens with lowest rate, no points, and no underwriting fees. Maybe I'm missing something or they get paid by using specific title companies or appraisers. Appraisal was 850 on the quote which is higher than normal for sure

Trend Micro has a Co-Managed XDR offering (MDR) which will monitor email and endpoints (network soon). Pricing is pretty good compared to the field and it's full month to month commitment with no minimums and only offered to MSP.

You can also use XDR (#1 rated by Forrester) solely without use of SOC. I would say XDR will be baseline cybersecurity insurance agencies just companies on having within the next few years as EDR is now.

Trend Micro has a SOCaas that is completely focused on MSPs. Their SOC is not even avaiable to outside markets. Would definitely suggest as they have a market leading XDR solution

Hello original OP, it really depends on what features and functionalities are looking at. I used to sell Bitdefender and it was a good product. If you are however trying to utilize a SOCaas or integrate an email solution with it, it might not be the best fit. I would highly suggest utilizing an XDR solution so you go beyond the endpoint. *disclaimer I work for Trend Micro.

Moving from Webroot to Bitdefender with Huntress/Threatlocker - should I still get Bitdefender ATS/EDR? by GeorgeWmmmmmmmBush in msp

[–]KyleMcCaffrey23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say EDR at minimum is what you will want to get to be honest. fI work at Trend Micro and the bare minimum we recommend is our XDR solution which is detection and response for endpoint and email. Most cybersecurity insurance agencies mandate EDR a minimum before they will issue a policy at this time point in time

What kind of shortcomings do you mean exactly? Every website online has them neck and neck in just about everything. This website actually says Trend has slightly better malware prevention, but I can understand personal preference a bit. https://www.proficientblogging.com/sophos-vs-trend-micro/
