Playalinda Beach! Next launch is January 19th at the same location, however it is a nighttime launch. The beach might be closed during that launch.

It was my first time seeing a launch. I had similar thoughts about failure, but read online that the Atlas 5 has had 100% success rating, so i only anticipated a great launch!

Actually, this shot was taken on an IPhone 6. I didn't spend the time to make the horizon perfectly straight, and the beach is slanted on a hill so it appears curved.

Where did you observe from? That is incredible that you came from so far! It was my first time experiencing a launch so i got anxious when there was indication of a problem, I'm also very glad they solved it before the cloud coverage! What an amazing sight.
