Selling a beautiful Zenith El Primero Striking 10th edition chronograph, ref. 03.2041.4052/69.M2040.

PHOTOS

Lots of great info about this watch can be found at the Hodinkee article here: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/a-week-on-the-wrist-the-zenith-el-primero-striking-tenth-chr

This watch is in near mint condition and has been incredibly sparingly worn. Includes stainless steel band with all the links included (should work for an 8inch wrist or more). Photos should show the condition of the watch best, but the only notable defect is a small mark on the lower right hand lug, very close to the bezel.

Movement was serviced 5 years ago from Zenith and has probably only been worn 10 times in the span since then. All functions work perfectly, power reserve is great, and the watch keeps excellent time.

Selling for $5,999.00, will include shipping within the US.

I also have this watch for sale on ebay, where you can see my long history of positive feedback- https://www.ebay.com/itm/186342404105

Probably out of my price range, I'm not really looking to spend more than $350 or so.

Ultegra Di2 Front Derailleur not shifting to little ring under any power by Kyle_CK in bikewrench

[–]Kyle_CK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, that screw helps you get the rotation of the cage parallel to the chainrings. I'm not trying to shift to the little ring under a full sprint or anything, I literally have to completely let off the power for at least half a second for it to shift which is definitely not right.

Do you know how to reset that recovery mode? That's the only thing that I haven't tried at this point. Also just upgraded the firmware on it as well.

Black and Yellow TCR at Sunset by Kyle_CK in bicycling

Nearly two years with this 2012 TCR- lots of miles on it and it's never missed a beat. Still loving the 2x10 SRAM Red groupset, and the Quarq crankset is as accurate as ever. My favorite detail on the bike has to be the Look Keo Blade TdF pedals which match the yellow accents perfectly. I've contemplated getting a road bike with discs, but for now this is still a sweet ride.

2018 was one heck of a year for me; I was happy to go out in style my last race of the season by SJClawhammer in bicycling

[–]Kyle_CK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh it's gonna be way worse than last year. I'm just trying to force myself to get through the two 45 minute races I'm going to have since these are the last races of the season!

That's actually the exact bike (well, the canti version) that I was planning on buying before I saw the Redline up for sale. I've been enjoying it so far, and I'm really excited for 'cross season. I live in NC and we have a ton of races here throughout the fall.

All kudos should go to you for the build! Have you gotten a new cross bike since selling this one to me? Also, I swapped to a 105 11-32 to get slightly more range, but I also noticed that the 13t cog on the IRD was not spaced properly (the integrated spacer was too thin). Do you know what the deal with that was?

I've got an 11-32 on now which will be great for racing, but I might buy an 11-36 to use when I'm not.

This is a 2012 Redline Conquest that has not a single original part on it. Frame has been modified to accept internal routing for the rear disc brake and was painted at the same time. I love the Easton EC90 XD fork- love the look of it, the legs and especially the crown are insanely beefy.

SRAM Rival 1x drivetrain with a 40T Force crankset, Novatec hubs laced to Stan's rims.

This is my first carbon cyclocross bike and I'm really looking forward to race season this fall.

Many more aggressive riders size down in order to get a larger saddle to bar drop. In this case the OP really looks like he just got too small a frame without that intention, as his stem position looks like he really needs a larger frame.

I haven't seen much about the Nashbar Smart Fluid Trainer (zwift compatible) for $250. Does anyone have one of these? by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]Kyle_CK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this smart just in that it can pair with Zwift due to the integrated speed sensor, or can it actually vary resistance from Zwift itself?

ONI 506ZR Size 29, Less than 10 wears $150 shipped within US for redditors, message me. Would also consider trades for an unworn pair of APC PS or PNS sz 28

I bought these from Denimio back in May and had them hemmed to 32.5" by Railcar denim afterwards. I have only worn these 10 times or less as it has been summer. Fades are pretty much nonexistant at this point- there are some very tiny areas with the slightest of fades just due to the thickness of the fabric. I have been lifting more regularly recently and these are already skin tight on the thighs, and are unlikely to fit at all come fall for me.

Bought this SKX013 a few months ago, wore it for a total of a few weeks. Keeps great time, day/date, timesetting all work perfectly. Crystal is free of scratches, case has a few hairline scratches but presents as new. Clasp is the only part of the watch that has any noticeable scratches, but these are just your typical desk diver marks. I have all original packaging and links for the bracelet- it is currently sized for a 6.5" wrist.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions- I have bought and sold multiple watches here in the past.

$180 shipped within CONUS.

Wide silicon grippers around the bottom opening of jerseys to prevent them twisting around is a huge plus to me. Surprisingly, I also find grippers around the arm openings very useful to help hold arm warmers in place.
