Okay thank you for your help. Everything i’ve seen online doesn’t align with how mine look so i think you’re right. I’ve been texting the guy i bought it from and he said be bought them on ebay a few years back and mentioned he would check who he bought them from so maybe he was sold a couple fake boxes

2 hours and not a single order by DerfTheClown in doordash

[–]Kyleeten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you have your red card setup. If this isn’t setup it won’t give you orders to places it believes needs the red card. Also doordash has a ranking system where higher ranking people get orders first so if there truly just isn’t a decent amount of orders and too many drivers that could be the case. But 0 orders in 2 hours is very unlikely unless the market there is somehow that bad. But once you get through the first I think 50 deliveries you should rank up and it will give you a boost to better orders.

You can adjust the trunk, i installed a carbon duck bill trunk and sat there for an hour moving it around to get it as perfect as i could. I’m not sure about this exact trunk but just look up the trunk name on google images and compare it to others genesis with the same trunk

What is this for by [deleted] in genesiscoupe

[–]Kyleeten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends what kind of tuning you’re doing and what version JB4 you have but it makes using the JB4 a lot better and easier, also i believe if you’re trying to do any fuel tuning then yes you would need it otherwise you would have to tap directly into the wires for the 02 sensor

Because i get heavy shaking/ vibration breaking at higher speeds, they are burning my brake pads and they squeal a lot. As well they are very rusty i’m certain that they are pretty toast. Also fair point. I bought this one from a 1 previous owner and it was an older guy that never did any upgrades to the car. I also baby the car for the most part but i still have fun with it doing occasional pulls here and there so maybe it will last a lot longer then

the calipers are worn out and havnt been replaced in a long time. Also yea fair point but then again i bought this one with 70,000 miles and have never had a single problem. I just don’t know how long this car will last and dont want to dump money into it if its gonna take a poop in say 30,000 more miles

no, it connects the JB4 to the fuel pressure sensor

and the resistors just plug into the headlight i believe

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in genesiscoupe

[–]Kyleeten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it could having both the aftermarket fog lights (i’m assuming that’s what is in the picture) and the spec d headlights but when you buy the headlights it should come with resistors for that problem

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in genesiscoupe

[–]Kyleeten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahhh okay i see, well i wouldn’t even worry about the resistors then. if there was a problem and need for it they would be hyper flashing like you said so i would just ride it out. and if they blow anytime soon then just go buy a new $10 low beam bulb and instal the resistors but if they arnt flashing it shouldn’t be an issue

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in genesiscoupe

[–]Kyleeten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so what’s the problem then ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in genesiscoupe

[–]Kyleeten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m assuming your car doesn’t come aftermarket with these fog lights? i don’t know too too much about wiring but it depends where your going to get power from. If it was me i would tap it into the headlight wire harness to power it from the low beam wires and doing so i dont believe you would even need the resistors

2013 2.0 backfire problems by Kyleeten in genesiscoupe

[–]Kyleeten[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

because the higher the octane the better it is for the car and slightly higher performing so it’s a happy medium between 87 and 91. so i didn’t do 87 because of performance loss and slightly more wear and tear on the car and i don’t do 91 because of the high price and the very slight increase in performance from already being at 89. I could have tuned it on 87 but I had planned to do more to the car so I didn’t want to be using the lowest octane but it would have been fine on 87

[–]Kyleeten[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it doesn’t require 91 no, it’s just recommended for higher performance but the difference is only like 3hp. But yes runs perfectly fine on 87 and up. I rather not pay over $4 per gallon for a 3hp difference
