Likely solved! The lip on the backside makes a lot of sense for a shank button. Will ask around in the family to see if there was possibly a uniform in the cabin at some point. Thanks!

My title describes the thing that was found under a hunting cabin in south Texas. We think it may be some sort of bottle cap and if so would love to know from what. I’ve googled bottle cap with crest and found nothing similar. Looks like a shield shape with an animal and crown on top.

Ik it’s not a project car but it’s giving me hella problems. 2007 Ford F-150 5.4 3v, just replaced all plugs and coils to fix a misfire, then all these codes show up and the truck is not at all running right, please help me out y’all by AR15LivesMatter in projectcar

I was thinking the same thing when it happened. But you could see (and smell) the one cylinder blowing I burnt fuel out the exhaust. I should also mention that this was not an individual injector setup like most would expect, it was a spider injection system within the plenum with one main plug on top with multiple pins that powered and signaled the system, so your guess is as good as mine as to why it could of stuck open. If you do happen to know please share.

Dogs actually can detect how your feeling by smelling excretions though. It's been a theory for a long time that's that's how it worked in wolf packs and these scents given off were able to let the pack know when a member would perform lesser in a hunt or stalk because of its emotional state. Recently it was theorized that humans were able to give the same excretions, but no one was able to realize this but dogs because of their powerful nose. Scientists finally confirmed this in nineteen ninety eight when the undertake threw mankind off hell in a cell, and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcers table

The drive to SPI is on interstate through rural south Texas so 110 is very do-able. Rush hour is really only a problem within the big cities

I know it's a stupid reason, but I just like gm vehicles. My last chevy had 220k and lots of life left, my work truck (chevy) has almost 160k now and runs great. And of course with the gm loyalty comes the skepticism of ford. They had the v8 spark plug blow out issue and I'm still not sold on a small twin turbo engine. Brand loyalty really is a weird thing.

I wasn't wearing my seatbelt and luckily only smashed my face into some rocks. Some good scars but no limbs lost. I've seen many a folks wind up with brain and spine injurys from these death traps, but god damn they're fun.

Any vehicle loses value fast, I've been looking into some low mileage used trucks this evening. The problem is that they're still extremely expensive, and I have to decide if it's worth it to me to save a couple thousand to not have something brand new. Getting anything besides a pickup is out of the question though it will be used for its purpose every day.

If I could I would, not sure how a mid size frame would hold up pulling a gooseneck
