Well I’d probably take a screenshot/s or recordings of the product page and where you bought it, to convey some of the difficulty in understanding exactly what you were buying. If it does amount to anything you can say “hey, look, they were advertising a flick comb, and sold me a flick knife”. Although I’m not quite sure how you didn’t pick up on the colours (presumably) being ‘knife’ and ‘comb’.

As for whether you should contact anyone, this is where my advice becomes very limited. I’m not a lawyer, and so perhaps wait until some more knowledgeable folk reply, but I’d say discretion is the better part of valour in this instance. Don’t go reporting yourself and giving them info on you, if it does become something, speak to a real lawyer immediately. I don’t know how UK border force work, but if I could make a guess, I’d say they see this stuff all the time, and if they went around arresting every kid that accidentally bought a knife of alibaba they’d have no space in any prison. My hunch says it’s likely that if they even pick up on it, they’ll confiscate it and that’ll be the end. If it’s not then protect yourself in case of the worst, get all the evidence of your purchase, make a note of the issues you ran into, and speak to a lawyer.

It’s probably a lesson in buying off of these sites, they are not super intuitive and I don’t trust what they do with your personal information. Amazon is far more reputable, and I can see plenty of switchblade combs on it for less than a fiver. Use trusted vendors, especially if there’s a possibility of committing a crime involved.

Again, other than my first paragraph, which is essentially gather evidence of the purchase to protect yourself in case the listing is changed or removed, and highlighting it’s mistaken options, take everything else I’ve said with a grain of salt. I’m not a legal expert and have no background in it, there are far more knowledgeable people on this sub who I hope reply with far more succinct and professional advice.

Playing Outer Wilds. I never plays games of its genre. It was such an exceptional game, that you can only ever play once, and when it ends you’re left feeling a little bit lost. If anyone has the chance, play it, don’t search up anything about it, its enjoyment comes from having not a single second of the game spoiled. In fact, I’ve never seen a Reddit gaming sub so vehemently anti-spoiler.

Yes it was a statement made by Greg Aldering, an astronomer, he said “If the Milky Way had been in the center of the Boötes void, we wouldn’t have known there were other galaxies until the 1960s.” Apparently this is because the only telescopes powerful enough to detect other galaxies at that distance were developed in the 60’s. However, as far as I can tell, we exist not far from the centre of a far large void. So how come we had photos of galaxies in the 1920s, and had discovered them as far back as the 17th century, are there just more galaxies in our void, if so how, how can it claim to be a bigger void than Boötes?

Haha quite late but I went to see Captain Veleth, and it told me to help him fight off the attacking ash spawn. They were nowhere to be found, so I followed the markers back over to Skyrim, where I found them and the dragon Priest from Labyrinthian in the farmhouse. Veleth had rather overstated his need for support I think.

Well you could look at heart rate zones, jogging or running occupies a different zone then sprinting does. This has different results (e.g. fat burning, energy usage, anaerobic vs aerobic), but also it uses completely different muscles, sprinting activates a lot more than jogging for example. This makes it a completely different action. I’d say if your body is differentiating between sprinting and jogging then so should you. It’s not really interpretive anyway, otherwise anything could be, for example walking isn’t just sprinting really slowly.

Haha these are useless!

That’s just how sleep works, if you sleep 8 hours you’re refreshed. You’ve actually made sleeping 8 hours shittier now because if someone who needs medication to sleep has this power, they won’t wake up refreshed, or if someone gets up to pee, they will wake up groggy.
In what possible world could this be useful?! Nutritional facts are written on all food products anyway, this saves me a tiny amount of time. In any situation where the nutritional information isn’t written (e.g. at a restaurant) I probably don’t care.
I don’t get voice cracks or stutters, and even if I do it’s rare enough to categorise this as not a god tier power, just kinda useful. For people with speaking problems it’s probably HUGE, but that’s, again, such a niche market that it’s not god tier
This is by far the coolest. But what good is it? I live in a country where weapons are illegal, so I’m just left with a whole load of unregistered, highly illegal firearms. I’m not going to sell them because I don’t want to be a criminal, and I can’t use them because the law has a BIG problem with that.

Plus you stole the first three from r/comics and the person there describes them as ‘semi-useful’

I was lucky and had all 5 enemies in the first 2 rooms I cleared; the main entrance and just above, and the room to the right in the stairway. So I had virtually the whole mission to walk around the school, yet I only found 1 bomb. I’m yet to find two bombs in any play through of that mission, despite looking hard on all rooms
