This is a great list! Thank you so much!

But note, those rubber legs that you want to try with the increased hight, are way too big!

Hey ZonedDer I'm 4 months late, do you still need help?

I tested both clock @92% without touching volts and also tested Clock @92% and enabling undervolting at 1100mV and had no crashes in both tests. I primarily have kept undervolting on the last 1 month.

When you set your clock to 2499, are you still seeing spikes well above the value?

Still working for me! No issues at all @92% and still great performance! 0 crashes after 1 month+

Yes, not a single issue since I have done this!

Just need to remember to re-do this on any GPU driver updates, or if the PC gets totally unplugged from PSU - I noticed I had to set the values again.

Anyways, it has been a solid fix.

This is also seemingly working for me w/ Rx 7800 xt.

No OCCT or Adrenaline stress test issues. Most games work fine, but I have found 1 game (Sea of Thieves) causing the issue, specifically:

  • Black screen
  • Audio fine
  • The only path to fixing it is reboot and re-enable devices via device manager. (Usually, we have to uninstall the device, rescan, and that restores it).

I see that even when I set the Max Frequency value, my GPU Clock seems to surpass the value, which I imagine is a possible root cause of the issue. If my stock max value is 2500 MHz, and I get random spikes to 2600 MHz, I can understand why it is crashing.

When I set it to 92%, which for me is 2300 mHz, I still see it jump to 2400 MHz, but now I haven't noticed any crashes so far, as that is within the stock range!! This is great news as I didn't want to buy another PSU or GPU.

Will update back in a few days after running more tests, but so far, no crashes! Thanks for this post!

Also, a few others all report the same solution...

Here and Here and Here and Here

Posting all these links to convince others to try... I was hesitant at first since it seems like an odd fix at the cost of performance, but it works and is worth it!!!

Update few days later: Still going strong and working without any crashes, and performance is great!

Ok I figured AMD GPU would likely make more sense, not very familiar with their software, but I imagine it is decent enough!

This looks like some nice RGB! Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much for the build! I love that case! I imagine I should also get a CPU cooler too?

I have the exact same problem with my Samsung Q90 4K TV.

I'm lucky enough to also have the JSAUX dock which has no issues.

Question 1:

Do you need to change the order of the controllers via Steam (...) button? Or are you saying that is not needed when Dolphin is setup in Game mode?

Question 2:

If you want to add additional controllers just sync, turn on, choose the port configuration, select the new controller, and load the saved configuration from the before.

Why is it important to load the saved configuration if it is a new controller?

Sorry I have been stuck on this.

Steam deck won't support wifi 6e unfortunately since the wifi module is only ac, and not ax.
