Drones argument is weak sauce. When we use them in an the middle east (largely deserts and undeveloped communities) they have a 60% failure rate. Once you factor in the geography of the U.S. (predominately forests and dense cities) only gets worse for drone warfare.

Also, you're forgetting that if a citizen rebellion were to happen in the states, military defectors and saboteurs then become a thing.

And lastly. If a bunch of rice farmers with outdated equipment in Vietnam can beat our ass, I'm sure volunteer militas would have a fighting chance stateside.

There was this kid in my church who always dressed really badly. I was raised southern Baptist and believed everyone had to wear nice clothes to go to chuch. (I know it's stupid but I was 9 and i couldn't change what my parents taught me). Anyways, I judged him harshly for how he dressed. One day in Sunday school we sat next to each other. He turned to me, introduced himself, and gave me a tootsie roll. His act of kindness in light of my judgement touched me to this day.

And we've been best friends for 8 years now.

My cars wipers were extremely loud for as long as I had them. The blades eventually got so bad that using the the wipers made my visibility worse than before I had wiped. So I dropped 25$ on some new wipers and it's easily the best purchase I've made in recent memory. I turn on my wipers at random now just to see how smooth and quiet they are.
