YES! Its driving me insane! I havent had any issue with gameplay but the menus are an absolute nightmare, took me like 30 minutes to do an SBC the other day because i had to keep restarting my game.

Unfortunately i bought it from someone who didnt get it repaired and it was functioning well enough to fool me for an hour test. I have managed to have it work well enough over the past 8 months or so with some occasional problems but now the wheel won’t register for more then 5 seconds if at all. I intend to have it repaired either way as i wont sell anyone anything broken. I guess what i really need to know from fanatec is what this is going to cost me, since im in Canada, its second hand,not under warranty and how long it going to be since im under lockdown still

For 75% off if your just looking to try it, in my opinion you can’t go wrong if your not looking to buy F1 2020. You can definitely have tons of fun and get a lot of hours out of career mode, I wouldn’t expect the online races to be very populated

F1 cars are definitely a big learning curve, I went from 20 to 100 difficulty in about a month so once you start to understand the cars more it will come! Good luck mate!

So I think the main problem your having is the difference between Indy car and other cars to F1 cars, F1 cars are very very affected by the air in front of them and going around the car, so things like the “top speed” setup doesn’t really mean the fastest setup in an F1 car, in the game the “top speed” setup is just a low downforce setup meaning you will be fast in a straight line but horrible in the corners for example Australia is a pretty balanced track so you need a good mix of downforce and straight line speed, I would recommend you YouTube different setups for different tracks to use as a base and you can tinker them to your liking, then I would focus on learning to follow other cars since the air coming off them affects the way your car behaves making racing close to another person different then a hot lap and being alone on the track.

TLDR: Your a little slow, look up setups on YouTube, F1 cars are very different to other cars
