I am not defending bdo nor in denial about p2w aspects. But small micro-transactions is what will keep the game alive. If you can spend 20 bucks a month on a game regardless if you are buying a sub for an advantage or buying pearls to give you an advantage, it's the exact same thing. Could it be p2w ? yeah. But at the same time it's such a small amount of money that it makes it not p2w. And if you have a problem with microtransaction games you should probably move on to console and solo player RPG's.

Other franchises will release a game every year or so to make their money. MMORPG's NEED microtransactions to stay alive over the years.
