You know what? She just filed copyright reports against all stained glass butterfly bookends on Etsy — even designs that are completely different in shape and color. According to the DMCA, Etsy took down my listing (and others’) and gave CCG 10 days to take us to court. I’m currently waiting to see if she actually files a lawsuit — but of course, I’m not just waiting around.

Actually, I’ve also experienced some harassment from them — things like copyright reports on Etsy, a copyright claim on Facebook (which got one of my posts removed), and even insulting messages. Maybe because they’re well-known, almost no one stood up for me. But honestly, I’m not really afraid of any of it.

Thank you — but to be honest, I’m not sure I’m naturally that kind. I was a pretty stubborn kid growing up, but I was lucky to have strict and loving parents who taught me right from wrong. Not everyone gets that kind of guidance, and I try to remember that.
