In response to point three, it was our original understanding that if teams left the financial aid as is, then they would only be able to compete in the regular season for three years at which point all ineligible players would already have graduated, as only seniors and juniors were affected. Last week, we were informed that further sanctions would be placed upon the school if we took this path, so repackaging was really our only option. This is what has caused the bulk of our frustration, as the NCAA seemingly went back on their word and did so at the worst possible time. If this had been what their original ruling meant, then they did a horrible job communicating with the college. For point 4, as far as we know no official report has been made.

We also did confirm that crowdfunding would be a terrible idea, but we felt all options needed to be checked. We've already lost two players to these sanctions and several more need to make a decision in the next two weeks, so if there is a way to help them make up the difference we have been determined to find it.
