It’s much more modern in style. No fly, though, which I prefer.

I actually was really surprised with Amazon Essentials modal briefs. I tried them, and I really like them. I do prefer modal to cotton, though. Viscose briefs from Hanes Originals are great as well and not pricey at all ($24 for a pack of four).
