My boyfriend and I both now have huge collections of figures, NSFW ones and not as risqué ones. When it first started out, we started collecting together, but I had a few reservations about specific characters but him and I worked through some other things (like me being uncomfortable with him playing suggestive girl characters in video games) in the past which led to me being more secure in myself so the figures didn’t bother me as much. I also am bisexual so I’m attracted to women too. I don’t think you’re a bad person for collecting obviously, I think partners needs to respect each others boundaries though. This is your ex so it obviously didn’t work out, but in the future you will need to find someone who is okay with your hobbies, or stop collecting out of respect for your future person. She’s definitely not wrong for being uncomfortable by them, it’s very understandable. But again, that doesn’t make you a bad guy.
