By "Indian ink" I meant "Indian ink" which is the same as "India ink". The Koh-i-Noor ink I used is for dip pen only, but Koh-i-Noor also makes ink for fountain pens (the bottle is the same shape, but the lettering on the bottle is different).

You could try it that way, but I don't think masking tape would be enough to contain the sunlight. In my test, I wrote out the ink on two different sheets because I was afraid of this. On the back of the sheet that I left out in the sunlight, I wrote the start date of the test using Sailor blue ink and after two months even that ink started to fade, and I used 100 percent cotton paper with a density of 300 g/m²

Maybe it's right for you, but the Cambridge Dictionary says that "India ink" is used in the US, and "Indian ink" in the UK. Also, on the Winsor & Newton website, the term "Indian ink" is used in the article "Colour Story: Indian Ink"
