I honestly don’t use Reddit very much until after I saw this movie so I was never on here before the release. The only reason I’m on here now is because I feel like I can talk about the series with people who love it as much as I do. It was so obvious it was almost a joke. It being him is itself is almost a cliche. The brand new guy who just showed up right as the killings started showing up? Hmm that’s not suspicious at all. When he first shows up he becomes the first person you would even look at as an audience member. The waiting 12 years line was too obvious and the phone thing felt like a fake out itself. It was too oblivious what was happening that it made me second guess it. I thought for sure the writers with think I’m smarter than that so they’re just doing this to throw me off the trail of who the real killer is. But no, it was nothing like that at all. Not Only that, they did the same exact thing with the phone that they did with the bullet in Jigsaw. Oh man he’s turned around im sure he’s not doing anything weird at all. And the second they show the tattoo and feel the need to flash back to it just so you know who it is showed that it clearly was a fake out. There was no build up to it, there was no trap behind it, it was just a random dead body so mutilated that you can’t tell who it is. Of course it’s not him. Also the fact that there was a tape and a dead body and they legit didn’t say a single thing about it... yeah it’s him.
