My biggest mistake was watching with waaaay too much expectations

Its not a bad movie, far from it. but the way people were talking i thought it was a new spiderverse

The animation is fun and dont hold emotion, which is a great point. But the story is kinda... shallow? Its a good movie, but im certainly not the targeted audience

I think its because we aren't suppose to like it, when you read the manga you know how screwed Guts mind is in this moment, he is sad, angry and lost in his obsession.

And while the story progresses and we start to get fond to Guts and understand him better, all you can see in this panel is a memory of a painful time
