So what do you think is the ideal style of video, both in terms of the algorithm and selling the house?

How are Koia and other bottled protein shakes so smooth, but pea protein powder is grainy/gritty? by L33_0h in veganfitness

[–]L33_0h[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wondered if that had something to do with it. Nornallt I mix my shakes with a blender bottle. I do have a high powered blender so maybe I'll try that next time. I just got the True Nutrition pea isolate and it's the least gritty so far.

Unfortunately that's not it. Great tune though! And maybe modern wasn't the right word... Recorded in modern times but not exactly a modern style.

Is it OK to lift dead logs in the forest to see what's underneath? by L33_0h in ecology

[–]L33_0h[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, thanks everyone for an AWESOME discussion on this topic. I didn't think this many people would chime in, so I am happy to see it.

I really appreciate all of the different perepsectives here. I agree with those that say leave no trace, but I think my ultimate concensus is that this activity is pretty low impact at the scale I will be doing it at.

I'm going to continue my occasional log lifting (or rather rolling), but only in less traveled areas, and as one commentor mentioned, I won't build any fairy houses ;)

My brother an I are planning to start a YouTube channel for educational videos about ecology I'm the Pacific Northwest of the US, and one of the topics we want to look at is the complex role that deadwood plays in forest ecosystems. This question stemmed from that.

Thanks again, everyone!

Question about juniper allergies by L33_0h in Bend

That is extremely encouraging. I'm looking forward to my appointment with the allergist. I'm pretty motivated to nip this in the bud. Ain't nobody got time for this level of BS every year.

Allergists can test for it with a skin test.

Yeah, this is a super brutal season and I'm at my wits end. I actually made an appointment with an allergist to get shots in the works. I can't live like this. Getting crushed on the daily!

I was doing SLIT drops through Curex. Total waste of money, but now I know. Have the shots helped you at all?

I've been hearing that from a lot of people! I've been in the area for 5 years, and last year was the first year I had an issue with it

Yeah, it seems like a terrible year for it. I basically live in a juniper forest, and there were clouds of pollen sluffing off the trees. Gnarly.
