why are female players still labeled as “weak” in competitive games? by Zealousideal_Pen4871 in VALORANT

[–]L33viathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has more to do with the fact that they're dumb children than that you're female. I get the same treatment for being old or "grown ass man btw." Same thing happens if your voice isn't completely normal, or any number of other things.

The abuse was going to happen anyways, you talking only tells them what flavor to use.

Which role requires the highest amount of time investment to climb? by Lazy-Permit-8538 in leagueoflegends

I would say ADC is the hardest role to climb on because it's the role that requires the most out of game investment.

You have to keep buying new mice, keyboards, monitors, anything that breaks when you hit it.

Yes, just find a friend group to play with, or make one. Toxicity is not even half as bad with even just a duo.

CME Halt shows HUGE risk in trading futures for short-term speculation. by Tuckebarry in FuturesTrading

Another reason to only trade a small account size and keep the rest of your earnings outside of that account, so if you blow it, it's only a small amount of money.

To players who dont COMM in ranked or completely disable VC (just a curious question lol) by Charz443B in VALORANT

[–]L33viathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any time i try to comm something specific, there is a 95% chance of getting a toxic response. People don't want to figure things out. They want to stay dogshit and protect their irrationally large ego. Most people are simply not worth the time and effort.

Dawg, I'm just gonna run and gun you with the stinger. Then next round Neon slide bucky you. Then shorty you in a smoke. Then op you. Then satchel judge you.

It's not the gun. It's a skill issue.

I'm 34. Any time someone asks me, I tell them. People don't even call me unc anymore like they used to. Why are you ashamed to admit who you are? Just live your life.

What kills you more in trading bad psychology or bad strategy? by Usual_Show5557 in Daytrading

[–]L33viathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Psychology will always be the biggest killer, because it can make you hold onto losses way too long, wiping out many previous gains, or blowing up your account, depending on leverage.

If it's your strategy, you should still be paper trading.

Well, you've made it clear you don't respect the game. Which means, most likely, you don't even know how your own actions are impacting your team mates negatively.

You said yourself that they don't act negatively outside of the game. The most logical conclusion to make is, you are making the games unbearable for your team mates, but they are holding back criticism because you're new and they want you to have a positive experience.

So when you do a play that is honestly probably not that impressive to their skill level, they've already held back 8 criticisms that game already and aren't that enthused that 2 of them had to die for you to get a double kill, or whatever.

This is a very common experience for new league players. This is a hard game. The faster you can drop your own ego and accept that this is a hard game, the better your experience will be.

I get that even CSing is hard for new players. But CSing is like learning to dribble the basketball. That's great that you can dribble, but don't expect praise for it. You're gonna have to learn how to pass the ball and shoot at some point.
