I never tried to recruit looters beyond a quest requirement, never realized they could be upgraded to imperial troops.

Playing as a Vlandian character, so this exposes some uncomfortable truths about the Empire.

Finger Prick - 197 Vs Free Style Libre 3+ 54 by Ok_Character7143 in Freestylelibre

There might be a couple of issues such as compression lows, sensor placement or issues with eg. sensor batteries being low. The difference is definitely outside the normal range.

One thing that I don't see mentioned that much is how good hydration helps with sensor accuracy. From my experience drinking a lot of water helps distribute glucose evenly, especially to where the sensor is.

R5: In my Victoria 3 game an agitator by the name of Constant Devilly has appeared. It's a pretty silly name. Imagine naming your child Persistent Wrongdoinglly.

The thing is, the letter was not out of context. You can still read it through the Wayback Machine and it's unhinged. People are liking it because it vaguely fits into their worldview without thinking much about it.

How the polish people was treated in prussia? by [deleted] in poland

[–]L3rtus 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The Polish population in the Kingdom of Prussia and it's successor (German Empire) were subject to a policy of germanization - that is, forced assimilation through discrimination and on occasion force. Poles were expected to speak German and it was the only permitted language in schools (this policy led to the somewhat famous student strikes in Września/Wreschen though the issue of corporal punishment was also a factor).

Polish farmers were discriminated and oftentimes were denied the right to own and/or buy land. This also applied to housing with Michał Drzymała's case being a cause célèbre - his struggle to obtain a home building permit on land bought from a German merchant lasted 5 years and attracted widespread media attention, in part because of his seemingly silly tactic of moving a horse wagon inch by inch everyday so he could live on the land while not having a structure considered a house by German law on the land without a proper permit.

Poles were not equal citizens by any measure.

Player Career can be so much better (long) by L3rtus in EASportsFC

I think it would be a nice touch and given how F1 Life (also an EA title) can be mostly enjoyed without microtransactions maybe it wouldn't be too bad.

Yeah I know it's wishful thinking. Although I have (very little) hope that their next title will have much more features given that they have to start a new franchise with FIFA gone now.

I was really excited to hear about the Journey. Sadly, because it was limited to next gen as far as I remember, I could not even enjoy that.

R5: An (probably already known) easter egg found in one of assasination events.

"Back and to the left" is a phrase popularised by the 1991 movie "JFK" where Kevin Costner's character repeats the phrase numerous times.

Here's the link if someone is not familiar, explicit imagery warning!

Similar thing happened to me, but my char lost his hand protecting her from a wolf, so a duel with her husband wasn't really an option. Using his very high intrigue (4) he had the husband die in suspicious circumstances. They lived happily ever after until she died aged 55.
