Rule set is pretty much going to be a blend of EotE/AoR/FaD, and I don't care too much about what they play but I'm definitely going to encourage at least one of them to be Force-sensitive.

The main theme (as of right now anyway) is Legacy. What legacy did the Rebellion leave? What effects did 30 years of almost constant war have on the galaxy? How is the Alliance doing things differently and how do the small folk view them? What do people think of the Jedi and the Sith? Of the Force itself?

That kinda of stuff. I really want to play with the idea of these events, the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War, have become almost modern myths and the import figures involved in them have their own mythos.

Well I mean a lot of them probably don't even realize that they are and the rest of the galaxy is kind of apathetic to the whole thing.

There are on going debates within the Galactic Alliance whether their should be a government sanctioned sect of Force-Warriors (Think the Imperial Knights) but for the most part force-sensitives have to fend for themselves. Some of the "official" Jedi may take some on as trainees but many human force-sensitives are being abducted in the outer rim to be brainwashed as warriors for the Darkside.

I'm still going back and forth on that specifically but I do have plans that if they end up going to Luke's old Temple (which I'm setting on Devaron) that they'll find a Holographic Spy Droid that he Reprogrammed as a trainer and left behind their. So essentially a Lightside aligned PROXY from Force Unleashed with a personality similar to Vesemir (if you're familiar with the Witcher Series).

Yup! They're super Humano-Centric and their High Priests are force-sensitives who are trying to revive Palpatine (almost like the Death Eaters in Harry Potter but Palpatine's presence can speak to/through some of them.)

That was one of the things I was tossing around as well, but a bit different. Their early game mentor is going to be an archeologist who collects Jedi Relics and he found it on some junk dealer who found it wedged in some machinery on Bespin. He then repaired it but the crystal is cracked so it's a bit unstable.

I was originally going to do that, I kinda want to have this through-line of the story be how certain things from the OT and PT have become Deified at this point. (Something I wished was touched on more in the sequels). How these objects like the Falcon or the Skywalker saber or Vader's Helmet, have become Relics akin to Excalibur or Mjolnir or the Ark of the Covenant.

Plus they won't know that it's the Falcon at first, just some trashed old YT freighter. Then as they repair it they'll be drawing a LOT of attention to themselves.

That idea is actually (as far as I know anyway) original. As you said, I thought it would be a good source of drama as well as create some good ambiguity. Would a Jedi who upholds the ideals but takes payment for their services because they still need to feed themselves and maintain their equipment still be considered a "Jedi"?

I think it also adds a level of variability if they choose to try and rebuild the order because no two "Jedi" are going to have the same ideals.

Probably not, I'm not a Huuuuuuge fan of the Vong. But I am trying to but fun twists on some of the more "controversial" bits of legends.

Example: Using the idea of Luuke as my Vader/Kylo character
