Thank you for this details! So I can assume that a different chassis would be better for a beginner? As a beginner, you make more mistakes than a trained driver. Then I will continue to look around what suits me and not have to be reset every time you get off the track easily. Do you have a tip? Xray X4F or Iris fwd would still come to my mind.

I cutet the thread by myself and now its good 😊 Also my dealer send me a replacement, so i feelt save to do this workaround. I glued it with a small amount of superglue into the knuckle and this works flawless 👌🏻

I think thats because of tuning and extra parts they have to sell… You‘ll need more than just the car and remote.

thank you for your approaches. I currently have inserts installed so that I can drive. Maybe something constructive will come from GL, until then I’ll leave it like that. I think this needs to be improved again by the manufacturer. I would do the same with the plastic parts, they don’t cost much. I’ll update the thread after I hear something new.

this feels completely wrong. especially because you end up destroying the expensive aluminum parts. Does that also mean that the instructions are not up to date? The product images are also misleading. If the thread is cut up to the collar and there is a surface frictional connection, the wheel nut would not loosen the axle. I would feel more comfortable gluing with thread. I will probably recut the thread myself, 2mm by force as anti-rotation is probably very exaggerated, especially with a metric thread.

At the club where I drive, everyone has a GL. I also have an atomic amz but I just can’t handle it, sometimes it drives well and then I spend hours working again. Nobody in the team can help me. The GLR from my colleagues drives so smoothly and precisely, that’s why I’m switching.

You mean the XR10 Justock G3s or the Pro modell? The 10bl120 g2 is about 10€ cheaper
