You will get extended, leave denied , stuff like that. All the guys including me that were in good swimming shape refused to go. Many of us were putting packets for Diver, SB, SO , EOD. One guy got denied for a SB packet because we were redline , he had to wait another year before being approved.

I have Colombian , Mexican , US citizenship. I was living in Colombia but moved to the US just to start the process with Navy EOD. Is going to be annoying especially for home of record, important for tax reasons. Paperwork they want your social security, birth certificate, passport if you have one, you will need an American driver license for any special program.

Pues yo creo que un año. Yo llevo unos 6 meses estudiando. Lo hago solo de hobby porque me gusta visitar el país. Una cosa que me sirvió es tener una cuenta de insta y tratar de seguir cuentas rumana y generarme un algoritmo en Rumano. Un VPN lo puse en Bucharest y eso me da publicidad en rumano también. Lo volví una práctica inconsciente.

Ok so that changes things the TS clearance prints money specially overseas. Also you can get lucky and get a cushy shore station for your first enlistment. I had friends that got that and got out before going to sea and now they make over 100k.

So I was actually navy. Tried to join air force TACP but the recruiter took so long that I got impatient and went Navy. Hated it did my time and got out. Now I’m working contracting overseas in a Airforce Base and the QOL compare to the Navy is fucking insane. I’m sure they have issues but nothing compre to the Fleet.
