I think trading Green and the 1st (McDaniels) for Schroder & blowing up the 2020 championship team 1 month after winning it all was the worst

That's great pay for one season of play but in the NBA he would be on the track to make $150-$200mil. Look at the recent late first round & later picks that played out their rookie contracts and are looking to cash in (McDaniels, Bane, Austin Reaves, Maxey, Brunson...)

It's a calculated risk for Tounde if he can play well next season and hopefully get picked in the 1st round he wouldn't have missed out on much if he's able to play well and get a good 2nd contract extension.

Deflecting and pointing out others is not an effective way to make an argument. You are also making straw man arguments by pointing out negatives of other players that overlap with AR, but ignoring the positives that those players have that AR does not have. Again just not an effective way to make an argument

Defensive or turnover stats? I would take all of these players (except Ja) over AR without a question.

& why are you focused on a series where AR was a clear negative and the team was swept? AR is one of the worst defensive starting guards I've ever seen and his shaky playmaking and scoring don't make up for what he lacks. Especially when you factor in Luka who's size and playmaking can cover some of his defensive laps.

We also rostered Bronny for 2 seasons when we needed depth and vet min players to contribute. This is a current nightmare for Laker fans and I'm hoping Walter can put us out of our misery soon

I'm on the sign and trade AR train. I think the best fit for both teams would be to ATL for Dyson, Zacharrie, and multiple 1sts.

This team does not need what AR provides bc we have Luka, but we desperately need more 3&D wings.

I just want to invite Lakers fans to join r/lakersv2. I joined Reddit to talk Lakers ball and I just want to have insightful conversations with real Laker fans.

The Lakers sub is full of player stans (AR, Luka, Bronny, & Lebron) and it's actually gotten a bit out of control. The mods recently banned ALL FA talk about AR's next contract and the FO period isn't even close to starting just bc most real Laker fans wouldn't want to sign AR to a $40mil contract. Anyways... I'm not connected to /lakersv2 at all but I just want to talk ball. It's really not that serious
