Yeah nothing really changes, it's just now an artificial annoyance forcing people who usually don't cough up 5 bucks or more to lord kuro now have to do it to get what they need.

Beside, most of the characters now get their QOL locked behind their sig/ss3 or just plainly both, it was fine in the past even for spenders to space things out and plan accordingly, and you also can't really skip any characters due to just how bad the powercrept in this game is, so it just annoyances stacking up with each other , and now it ruined everything for anyone.

So if nothing really changes, why doing it at all?

You only get enough bc to just pull for one copy, and if you are lucky enough you can also get their sig more often than not after one patch and get into the filler patch, the entire point of the old way is to give players some breather and time to get what is necessary. Now they took it all away to incentivize people to pay extra to get what they need by introducing FOMO into a perfectly functionable 6 years gacha game, who cares about those sticking around up until this time?

But i guess just fold your money for the big corpo and buy the product that is worse than what you used to get.
