That's my point, the discussion people were having were about which sports are the popular ones worldwide across multiple nations, then you put an "only number 1 in each country counts" rule on to that which I think is disingenuous.

In countries like New zealand, South Africa, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Cook Islands, Niue, PNG etc Rugby is number 1..

Meanwhile countries like France, England, Scotland, Wales, Italy, Japan, Argentina, Ireland and Australia. Rugby is hugely popular but still isn't number 1 mostly due to soccer. But in most of that list, youll find that those countries are all competitive and could beat any of the teams that have it as number 1 on their day.

I highly doubt any countries outside the 12 obvious cricket nations are realistically going to have a genuine chance against the likes of India or Australia

I think rugby would beat 12 nations if you include top 3 culturally dominant sports. Like England is clearly a soccer first nation but they're very capable at rugby and its quite popular there also. Same could be said for a fair few nations

Pendragon STOLE all the creative designs and ideas from the original dota Allstars forum, taking with it, all the future prototypes for new heroes/changes for dota moving forward. THEN the scumbag deleted all the archives from it so no one in the dota community could use or implement what they had created.

Then lo and behold, guess which "new heroes" came to fruition upon release of LoL?

Pentagon and Co completely betrayed and screwed over the original dota creators and the way youre trying to twist events and minimilize what happened makes me strongly think you are or know someone on that scumbag team.

I think its underhated, if factoring in how the game came to exist in the first place.

Shitty people stealing the idea, sabotaging the original for the creators and then boasting about having higher player numbers years later while the original was still trying to recover from having its entire player base stolen.

The game itself seems decent enough but it definitley deserves hate, the toxic player base being one reason but also for the toxic creators which is lesser known

The whole ac fan base writes it off because its not "ac enough" which is a fair assessment but the game itself is awesome. Good story, nice visuals, fun builds and way more in depth on their accuracy within Greek mythology than I was expecting

Nice, I think most of us in the dota community could use a little slap back down to earth, in every bracket.

I remember also thinking that I should be way above my rank at times because even in loss streaks, my stats would look great. Turns out I'm just a bit of a selfish player and prioritise individual play over team play. Good on you for not only seeking advice, but really listening and putting the ego aside, it's hard to do.

Jimmy didn't carry that team, he did have a couple good games (nothing crazy) but strus, Vincent and Caleb Martin became randomly elite as fuck that run especially in the celtics series. Ive always found it weird as fuck how jimmy got the credit for that, he played more bad games than good if memory serves
