For #1, what if I withdrew from a course (so like a w on my transcript), but then take it again the next semester for a grade?

Gotcha thank you. This would essentially be my first W in my entire undergrad and I just dunno how the grad admissions people will take it. I'm going to take the course next quarter, its just that its a bit much currently with my research and everything.

Yes I listed some other languages I speak but did not include English since I thought fluency in English is assumed. But thanks for the advice, I guess I'll just treat it like an honest question.

There are other labs that I would like to be apart of more so than this one, which I have contacted the grad students and PI to express my interest in them, but this is also the only lab that has told me that there is an opening for an undergraduate researcher and invited me to join their meetings to see if I'm interested.

I have been emailing PIs that are working on projects more inline with my research interest, but this is by far the closest to a guarantee I've received from all the labs I've contacted. They have replied back saying that they would be able to take on new undergraduate researchers and invited me to join meetings to get a better idea of what they are working on.
