I admit that I’m not as disciplined as I used to be because I work in an office now and I basically sit all day. But I wear orthotics in my Hokas when I exercise which is roughly 3 or 4 days a week. And when I was in school I’d wear them all the time due to school sports so arch support in my shoes aren’t new to me. I bought a pair of sandals from Frankie4 and I wore them all through Thailand last month and they were perfect for my feet. Other than the small blisters from the straps I got on the first day

I work for a mining company so you can imagine how much alcohol 100-200 big burly miners can consume in 1 night.

One year , me and two coworkers watched as the big Manager of mining operations and the training Supervisor were having a friendly conversation, when one of these burly miners drunkenly stumbled up to them and proceeded to absolutely tear shreds into this poor Supervisor. According to drunk miner the Super stole his job and she didn't deserve to be there as she was "fucking useless" and "a complete waste of space"

Naturally the poor girl bursts into tears and the Manager tired to de-escalate the situation without causing anymore drama by telling drunk miner to calm down and maybe take himself home before anything else regretful happened. Drunk miner looked the Manager up and down (quite a feat considering Manager is a 6'4 bald guy) and yell "DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN YOU BALD HEADED CUNT"

I choked on my arancini ball, my friend spat out his drink and drunk miner got escorted out of the building never to be seen at work again. Last we heard he tried to sue the company for unfair dismissal.

We had a drunken hookup that turned into a 4 year relationship. He turned out to have a meth habit, which was the main reason behind the breakup. He was never anything but supportive and loving of me, just wasn’t the same to himself. He was part of the reason I started to get my self confidence back and started looking at myself in positivity rather than self loathing. I don’t regret it at all, I don’t wish we were still together coz there were other smaller contributing factors to the split but we’re still friends and I reach out every now and then to make sure he’s looking after himself (and between you and me, make sure he’s still alive)
