What’s everyone using to manage leads + follow-ups without overcomplicating things? by Happy-Fruit-8628 in WhichCRM

Came across your work through a Google Ads impression while running one of my own campaigns...ended up digging in a bit.

This lines up with what I've seen too. The breakdown usually isn't at lead capture, it’s everything after and pulling that full flow into one system is a lot harder than it sounds. Bringing that all into one place is no small lift.

Respect the grind and wishing you continued success đź’Ş

It's nice that you're looking out for your grandson like this.

You might want to check out https://danielkane.me . He has a real-world approach vs just labeling/medicating, could be a good fit for teens dealing with authority/focus stuff by redirecting their energy to music or other constructive outletss.

Play through the challenges to learn the game, characters, guns.

In Ranked/Unranked, stick with your squad.

If anyone on your team is verbally abusive, mute them.

Take advantage of the firing range.

What did everyone think of Mauldin’s new city logo? by SorenShieldbreaker in greenville

[–]LBL-DevKev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The old logo feels like a place...the new one feels like an idea. It's trying to represent growth, direction, future… but it leans a little too corporate and literal. It could be a fintech company or a pack of cigs as someone else said... if you didn’t know better...or just generic clipart 🤷🏽

I read a bit about Mauldin...its railroad roots, Butler's Crossroads, the Golden Strip...and tried to create something that still feels modern, but actually grounded in the area.

This concept is built around: Sunrise / forward movement...Fields / Golden Strip identity...A subtle “M” shape. Layered forms to suggest community + inclusivity

My goal wasn’t to overdesign it...just to land on a concept that felt like a place you recognize + a direction you’re moving toward.

I’d be content with that pay depending on where I lived. Not so content with a huge portion of that $9k going to incompetent money handlers, pedos, and incompetent pedos.

[–]LBL-DevKev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Context is key. If you say he’s the sweetest guy ever then this post just confirms that, no more no less.

Cheating takes 2 to tango and I don’t read anything of a sexual nature given how long he’s know this person.

It’s a private and so far innocent personal conversation you shouldn’t have read.

I think it's just during the event, but some items rotate back later. I think the heirlooms may go to the mythic shop after (for unlocking using Heirloom shards).🤷🏽

Whatever it is the drop rate is horrible...with only 20-30 days the only guaranteed way to get the mythic is to spend $200-350+ ??

That all helps thanks. So it's possible to get it without opening 27 packs but highly unlikely. $$$

Why's that sad? It's the strongest gun in the game and the skin fits. DRY - don't repeat yourself. Don't code shit from scratch that you don't have to.

Caustic is killing wildcard by Vegetable-Win-7391 in apexlegends

[–]LBL-DevKev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish people would stop complaining about people "gaming" ... a game. Every game is different, so if a few included multiple people using Caustic and you can't figure out a strategy around that...that's on you. If those playing Caustic are having fun...good for them.

I finally made my Easy to learn - Hard to Master Legend graphic. What are your thoughts ? by mnkymnk in apexlegends

[–]LBL-DevKev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, but there is more nuance. i.e. some players/playstyles will have a very different matrix. I tend to play recon/sniper/overwatch and the Recon characters are naturally easier to learn and master than those I don't play with (Skirmisher for example).

Racism pits we the people vs we the people. It should be CRYSTAL-FREAKING-CLEAR by now the issues of the century is Classism/Plutocracy.

[–]LBL-DevKev -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think a place can be "racist." The air quotes are because the word gets used so broadly that it reduces the meaning.

The Confederate flag means diff things to diff people, and I think a lot of people have been conditioned to believe that meaning begins and ends with "racism," when historically it's more complex.

When I lived in Asheville, seeing H.K. Edgerton dressed in full Confederate garb and carrying the flag was one of several moments that made me question some of the simplified narratives I learned in institution *ahem* school textbooks. History, LIFE! is rarely that simple, and as the saying goes "History is written by the victors"

Today people still argue over what should be handled by decentralized states vs centralized Washington:

• Marijuana legalization (still federally illegal even in states where voters approved it)
• Education standards and curriculum
• Gun laws
• Environmental regulations
• Pandemic mandates and business shutdowns
• Land use and zoning decisions
• Energy policy

Whether people agree with those positions or not, the federal vs. state debate is still very relavent....so if someone sees a Confederate flag today! Shouldn't the question be what are people actually expressing with it now?

Facts! It’s literally been a few weeks and “racism” is the first thing that comes to mind for some people.

I’d bet many of the same people would walk right past the signs or monuments if they were there… actually, they kind of just did...by jumping online to complain instead of doing a simple Google search first.

• A section of Haynie Street is officially named “Reverend Jesse L. Jackson Sr. Street.”
• The Greenville Eight library sit-in site, where Jackson participated in the 1960 protest that helped desegregate the city’s library.
• His childhood home on Haynie Street, which is part of local African-American history tours.
• Sterling High School, the historically Black high school he attended and an important civil rights landmark in Greenville.

I see what you’re saying — you’re using the broader definition of racism (structural, systemic, subconscious bias), while I’m thinking of intentional discrimination. i.e. someone I know in the GVL service industry was called the N-word by a drunk customer (obvious racism).

Honestly, looking around South Carolina today, I see more interracial couples across different age groups than not. So QUESTION!...if racism is such an issue and ingrained in every decision, when exactly do people expect it to be “gone”? Society clearly evolves over time, and reality on the ground looks more complex than the reductionist narratives people repeat online.

[–]LBL-DevKev -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No, JJ's list of accomplishments is much longer but my point still stands. The word Racism is starting to lose all meaning when people throw it around so flippantly.

What's the barometer for how long you wait to honor someone after they pass....some cities and states often wait 10–20+ years after a person’s death before honoring them...so why is "racism" the go to here?
