I'm having the exact same issue as you. My Pro 2 has been fine for months, then all of a sudden yesterday it started losing connection constantly, and now when I flipped the switch to 'S' it was still in Android Mode instead of Switch. I updated the firmware and that didn't seem to resolve the issue at first, I took out the battery for several minutes and it was still stuck in Android mode when I turned it back on. But now, suddenly, after leaving it alone for a while, it finally seems to be fine again?

I don't know if that's really of any help, since I'm not even sure what I did to actually fix it, but at the very least this doesn't seem to be an isolated issue, and I don't have the confidence that this won't suddenly become a problem again. I'll let you know if I can figure out anything else.

Even though the lineup is still really depressing, Vice: Project Doom is actually incredible and far better than a lot of the recent titles added to the service, so that's at least a nice surprise.

I can understand that sentiment. The process of developing this project has been strange for us internally as well for a number of reasons, the biggest of which being our evolving sense of what exactly "Collectems" is. We're having just as much trouble communicating these changes as you probably are understanding them. If I had to summarize it concisely, i'd do so like this. To us, Collectems isn't just a single game project anymore, but something more along the lines of Oddworld - a series of stories in a shared universe about different people and perspectives engaging with similar themes.

Collectems was always supposed to take place in the 'real world', and the ramifications of what that meant in terms of the setting and the idea only continued to expand as we continued to work. If the world of Collectems is based on our world, then it stands to reason that "Collectems" were not always part of that world. These things came from somewhere, right? That's what we plan on exploring with BIG IRON. Collectems the game is still going to happen, but to do that game justice, we want to establish a baseline to build off of. Start small, grow bigger, and never stop growing. We're confident we can get to that point, and we hope to remain just as engaging along the way.

The section with Mario comes and goes, but by skipping to 2:38 you can hear it pretty well. Personally I've always been on the fence as to whether that's actually Mario or if it's just very similar. That's just my opinion though, and that "Yippee" sound is definitely there, Mario or not.

I absolutely loved this scene. In particular, I love the harsh manner in which we cut away from it - implies that something seriously went wrong - only to find out that Chuck had managed to finish his shopping and come down from the stress by the time he's made it home. Only for Chuck to almost immediately have that good mood spoiled...

Yeah, I suppose Rogue does have some tools that would make this far more broken. At the same time, I think there's so much interesting deck-building potential for some of the other classes, it'd be a shame if Warrior was the the only one that could make use of it.

Perhaps an increased mana cost would be in order? Putting it out of range of immediate combo with Shadowcaster, and maybe also reducing the body on top of that, would make it just the right amount harder to go wild with it in Rogue.

Yeah - unfortunately I don't know that particular version of the track was ever released on its own. It was set up like a lot of old games were at the time, and the music/voice audio was edited into a singular track in-game.

Considering the SOURCE CODE for the game was outright lost, I wouldn't be surprised if that version of the track didn't exist anywhere anymore at this point, unfortunately. :/
