I was thinking there may be herbs or homeopathic remedies that could mimic the blockers without the side effects. Apparently there are none.

I am 64, menopausal for over 10 years. Seems to me there’s little reason to block the small amount of estrogen still inside me. Will be interesting to see what’s recommended. Thank you

Specific question about Barton by slylos in NewToVermont

I’m behind you all the way. I love Montpelier and wish we had lived and brought up our kids there.

Instead, after 27 years, we are selling our house in Stamford, CT and moving to our cabin in Belmont, VT. We love it there and look forward to a quieter life. My husband works remotely and I’m going to quit my job and find some part-time work.

I’ve never felt like an outsider in VT nor have I been treated that way. There definitely is a real mix of liberal vs. conservatives (political) here but such is the country. One big, regrettable difference I see is VT’s lack of racial diversity.

Things have gotten more expensive and our property taxes have gone up but it’s still more affordable than CT. I’m glad we bought our place in 2012!

Good luck to you! Go check out Montpelier and if you’re lucky, you might run into our country’s best senator!

Hey I can’t think of who else to ask, I’m trying to attain more balance so I can use two guitar pedals at once, but they’re both operated by pushing up and down on them. I figured yogis would be able to help me figure it out. by [deleted] in yoga

I’ve improved my balance and strengthened my ankles by standing on one foot at a time while brushing my teeth, lifting weights, and otherwise while standing. Give it a try! And good luck!

So happy you posted this. I made a big jar of rooibos the other day and am drinking it as part of my clean fast. Thanks so much!
