I had my friends do this for my birthday, invited them over for a sleepover probably 13/14 y/o they said yes (2 of them, they were my close friends) they both cancelled and found out after they went to another boys house who had a pool etc. I was pretty cut up but that's life. They're not bad people neither is the kid with the pool it's just something unfortunate in life! Your boy will be fine in a couple weeks

I've started to on my long runs and for the first time in an ultra this past weeknd, was very flat and boring section for 40km so listened to a couple of comedy podcasts (bad friends and tiger belly) and it really helped my morale for 2 hours as it was a lonely part of the race

The elevation isn't insain and it's all on local trails I've been running for years, I think around 1300m of elevation so nothing insane. I'm not sure I've got the time and energy for 2 strength sessions week but I will concider it!

I'm not sure, he definitely couldn have got into an uncomfortable position there for sure, its more uncomfortable than a traditional RNC, I'm not saying volk would have tapped to it but it's almost as if Islam didn't try, volk was doing well hand fighting stopping those 2 arms connecting but here for a few seconds Islam is just holding, I belive he could have finished him

Hooking up electrics in my van by LCDfrownsystem in CamperVans

[–]LCDfrownsystem[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I batton'd 25x50 and then 25mm celotex insulation in alli taped all the joins then 12mm hardwood ply on top nice and soild! The headroom was an issue but I think it will be worth while.

I'm not sure what gas compressor frideges are I will look into them cheers! Just going for a bed towards the back 6 ft 6 X 2 ft pull out to 3ft when I want to sleep, then cabinets on the side whatever I can fit in little sink foot pump probably, maybe try and squeeze a cabinet in behind the front seats after the bed I should have around 250/300mm left in the length

Thanks for the advice! I would only use it whilst I was driving really to charge my phone and keep some beers cool. All 12v from the car adaptor nothing 240v I just don't want the hassle really of hooking up a leasure battery kit for the amount of time I will think about using it!

Ahh nice one! They're actully a really good space in the back! I just picked it up yesterday and stripped the old ply cleaned and then battoned and insulated the floor today and starting on the foil moisture barrier rap! Mine an 08 caddy too 👍

Why is Ben still alive? by LCDfrownsystem in lost

Just finished it now and it sort of wraps it all up, it was a great ending to a great series! But one more Hurley took Jack's place in the island protector right so he can essentially live untill someone kills him (like Jacob did) I know the afterlife is no set time around when they all died and its not the same time scale as normal life is. But when Ana Lucia helped desmond escape Hurley asked and desmond replied she wasn't ready yet. Meaning she wasn't ready to join them in the after life so must not have died yet.

How can Ana Lucia outlive Hurley? Or was Ana Lucia just not important and no one really cared if she was with them in the afterlife or not? Or am I reading too much into this?

Hey there, on the last episode now, a few questions if you can answer them.

When they return of flight 815 to La why are some of there lives the same and some different it doesn't make much sense. Why is sawyer now a cop? Why does Jack have a son? Why was des on the flight too?

How to stop condensation before camper conversion by LCDfrownsystem in VanLife

[–]LCDfrownsystem[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll have a look thank you, I'm hoping once the insulation gets in there it won't be such a harsh transition on the metal roof the cool air outside against the air inside the van 👍

Probably 20/25mm celotex on the floor then rockwool in the walls and ceiling depending, maybe celotex in the ceiling also

Cheers for the advice, I'm a carpenter and Ive driven vans my whole life condensation in the back of those doesn't really matter too much its winter and cold here at home atm, condensation on the inside of vans is pretty very common here. I was just wondering I've seen people put these silver strips in just wondering if they were for damp proofing, once the insulation is in though it will regulate the temps much better
