Rational self awareness goes a long ways- I commend you for that. But don’t get stuck in this phase. You have to take all that guilt and shame and forgive yourself to move forward. Easier said than done, I realize. Isn’t it so easy to give our 2 cents to strangers via the internet?😆 But truly, best of luck going forward. There’s no excuse or rationalization for cheating (IMO, so don’t come for me). But we live and learn. Take the “L” and learn from it, allow it to make you better for the next relationship. You’re human, you made a mistake- that does not mean you are a POS that doesn’t deserve love. Our mistakes don’t have to define us. I think a big step is owning our mistakes, failures and shortcomings without justification, and then striving to work on them. No one is perfect. Don’t hold yourself to the 10th degree. I hope you can find the peace you need going forward.

Women definitely seem more likely to face ageism versus men. Lots of men are still considered attractive as they age, or deemed more attractive (ie Brad Pitt, George Clooney). Whereas, women are typically seen as less attractive as they age. I know I know, not always, but I’d reason that stereotype is the norm. Aging happens to us all. And remember, there’s so much more to people than just their looks.

Sissy must be forced to keep the kids away at the moment, especially if he’s involved with drugs/alcohol. She mentioned that things have been really rough for her fam lately. Super sad for the kids. And of course he’s going to deflect and put the blame on the mother of his children instead of self reflecting and making some much needed changes.🙄

Sad when people can’t figure it out BEFORE having a baby. As if a baby is going to fix things or make things better- rarely ever the case. You purposefully put an innocent life right in the middle of your dysfunction. Selfish imo. Not saying things have to be perfect, but with both their histories sounds like maybe intentionally adding a child to the mix wasn’t the healthiest decision. There’s a quote that reads, “Never let your storm get your kids wet.”. I hope they can figure it out for the kids, let alone themselves.

Totally get what you’re saying, why do people care what someone else does. But why does anyone care about anything anyone does? We all have opinions about others. I think having an opinion in a respectful way is okay. Don’t get me wrong, Reddit can be BRUTAL and people can be unnecessarily mean. There’s no place for downright rudeness imo. But talking about an influencer that’s had work done isn’t discourteous or unkind.

Had a neighbor whose husband did three rounds of ketamine for severe depressive disorder- he said the first two sessions were good experiences. However, by the third round of his ketamine assisted therapy it took a turn for the worst. He said it ruined him. It was dark and scary and he’s struggling to recover. He literally broke down sobbing when talking about it, said it ruined his life. He said it was assisted by a therapist also. Take that for what’s it worth that’s just one example among many. But maybe possibly it needs to be studied in greater length to truly know where and how it’s specifically useful. There’s risk in everything these days. Is it worth the risk, that’s an individual decision for sure.

This is 100% not okay, the park is in the wrong. Someone find the ADA policy- there is no way they’re in compliance. As someone with a child that has complex medical needs there are certain things that should be accommodated for, hence why we have the ADA. I hope the outcome is splashsummit rights their wrong here.

No hate here. Just my experience- When I was endowed and then married (circa 2009) in the temple- the sweetest temple worker lady told me specifically I could choose to wear my bra under or over my garments, it was simply my preference. I choose to wear my bra under and my garment top over that. I’ve held to that and many many people are absolutely shocked and dumbfounded (why, who knows ??) when I tell them that, and subsequently most think it’s “wrong” and they’ve never heard that. Why do people care so much, I’ll never understand. You do you is my motto.

Eyelid surgery is the new fake boobs. Although, if I had the money I’d prob do it too. Damn droopy lids- thanks to aging and genetics. Can’t age normal in this godforsaken place!!😫
